"Someday all the love you've given away, will find its way back to you and it will finally stay." ~unknown
"Sooner or later you're going to fall back in love with your life. Sooner or later your chest isn't going to weigh heavy like an anchor within your body. Sooner or later, you will remember the lightness, the days that didn't end in aching, and that is when you'll realize it, that is when you'll understand–you survived." ~Bianca Sparacino
When I see you, my tongue tintinnabulate And I hear a soul-shattering kaboom Turning everything mute including me I no more hear the pitter-patter of rain Or the rusty rustle of leaves in autumn stain
I no more hear the clutter clatters, The whoosh of the zephyr Or the snap of the twig I feel my cracking knuckles Spotting your soft chuckles But I don't hear them anymore
I never hear your voice You never hear my baffling noise Like a television on a mute mode Like a mime playing emotion note I keep vocalizing in a million silent way Only hoping you will understand some day
Though my efforts broke And my voice choke My heart keeps struggling deep inside To break my shreiking silence
Million words strangled deep Discharge bullets, Dakka Dakka Piercing my heart's ark But yes, I chose this silence I chose to love you muted Because silence has no rejection I could just love you The way my heart knows
Felt like writing up a short piece.. And about the relatability part... Hmm.. Let's talk that later. Now let us continue.. Royal Enfield which I bought for nearly 2 and a half Lakhs, with GST ofcourse, i counted the money and waited for my baby to be delivered which took for almost 6 months. I was in the verge of thinking that the company has almost cheated me cuz of the time period they took to deliver the bike.
It was a hot summer time i was holding my dream and i had a plan sketched on my other hand. After formal delivery rituals, my impatient heart was about to leap for my first ride. I had packed my things ready but the executive said sorry sir. Sorry to set fire to your dream, but wait atleast upto the first service to take this bae for long rides... I was shattered internally but yes, it was fine as if i have waited a longggggg since the bike was out when i was younger... So i thought of spending quality time with it.
It was at the verge of summer when I finished the rituals of my bike, changing lube, chains, etc., etc., and now there was no one to stop me and I googled enroute to Kerala. Yes RE and Kerala makes perfect sense for a guy from TN. I was bit confused on which part of Keral will be honoured by my presence i thought why not the whole part. My conscience spoke with me limiting me with Munnar which is half kerala half TN with high mountains and so many sudden waterfalls all along.
Route set and the journey thus began. I was cruising in about 80 kmph in the Highways and i chose to go along the Theni route which has Mudhumalai Tiger reserve on the way.. Which means lotta entertainment, animals and a thrill ride guaranteed.
On my way, i was lucky enough to see pigeons and hens and also a narrow escape from a Elephant herd. Shoutout to those Elephants which spared me to write this one.. Thanks Grey giants!!! I had sliced apples to compensate my sudden hunger which came when I was out in nowhere and my eyes engulfed so many scenes which my camera failed to capture.
RE did a great job in pulling me up those hills thanks to it's torque plenty engine and that thud thud thud thud... Reflected all over the path. I enjoyed the beat as well as the nature and i climbed and climbed until i reached the hil top. Did i mention the quick dip i took in one of the waterfalls? It was pleasant, i highly recommend you to take one if given a chance. Alright..
I reached a place and i was terrible in reading the names amd i was shocked to see a place in a mountain was clean shaved. When i inquired about that, they said a school was washed down into the river in one instance when there was heavy rain. My heart felt heavy and my bike felt knocked out so i stopped it there and i took out my helmet.
I went straight to that small shop where people were busy having lunch and also i saw them having parotta with tea... Hey not as you think, they did not dip parotta in tea... they had tea while eating parotta.. Watching this in awe, i sat in the bench and i peered into the halogen headlamps of my RE and finally i uttered those magical words..._Chetaaaa... Two tea_.. One for my and one for my bae.. #wod#wood#tea#chai#short story #read it Thanks @writersnetwork for the ❤
