I choose pen over gun during my ph.D.
I have survived without tele communication for 3 months, and internet ban for around 6.
I was only in 8th class when I was slapped with first PSA.
I was beaten to death at the age of 7, my name was saahil.
I was dragged out from home, I died as a professor.
I am half widow.
I am disappeared son.
I lie a forgotten victim, ruined by occupiers.

In morning, when i started my day by opening mirakee app. I saw a number of posts with quotation ;
"Happy Independence day"
I started mull over it, i was eager to write something.
I too begin with word "Happy" , but all of a sudden i noticed that internet services have been suspended acc. to govt. Instructions. !!!
Yes !!!! U hit it rightly. I am from Kashmir .
I was upset. I couldn't complete it. Then i didn't go for a usual round with my friends. After all i am the only 'star' among us, who support the country in cricket matches. I thought they will attack me with poke fun again, so i restraint myself.
After 5-6 hours of ban, internet services were restored. I was impatient in these hours about the happenings in my valley. so, in hurry, i opened the app of a leading newspaper in my phone. I started looking for some good news about celebration and so on. But sorry i couldn't .
Yes !! Bcoz i am from kashmir.
What i found was of grave concern, it lead me to the trenches of pacific filled with anguish especially mental. I didn't blame my country , yet i have to answer... To my friends, and those who blame me ,for supporting 'my' country. But, yes i blame!!! (internally.) .As i am not able to satisfy myself, with my answers.
70 years of celebration and we have no Independence!!!! we have curfews, hartals, and mental restrictions.
I wish that day in my life span; i can celebrate my Independence day , free and without fear and surely i want to celebrate it with my friends.
