सर्द हवाओं के झोंके, जब तुम्हे तंग करने लगे,
तब बनकर गर्म साल, तुम्हे लिपट जाऊँगा मैं,
आऊँगा मैं।
बिजली की गर्जन से, बादलों की तड़पन से।
जो तुम डरो कभी, तब बनकर तुम्हारी छाया,
सीने से लग जाऊँगा मैं,

जब मैं तुमसे रूठ जाऊ कभी,
तो देख के तुम्हारी सिर्फ एक मुस्कराहट,
पिघल जाऊँगा मैं।
