    Divine

Living in a dream of reality
    We are Divine
Breathe, and feel the air in your lungs
Breathe, and see how far that you've come.
    Even when our worlds collide,
Just breathe in one more time
    This is Serenity.
Living in a dream we can't control
Living in a dream, we are alive.

The Setting of a Glorious Sun

When you first opened your beautiful eyes, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Your mother loved you, and despite what you think, your father did too. In his entire troubled life, the only time he ever cried was when you were born. But you didn't know that.

When you were five years old, you told me your dreams. You asked me if all things were possible.
    I smiled. "Yes, my child."
The look on your face could've made the hardest of hearts shatter. The entire world opened up and lay at your feet.

When you were 17 years old, you told me your dreams. You asked me if all things were possible.
    I smiled. "Yes, my child."
The tears on your face disappeared, and hope shone once more. The entire world opened up and lay at your feet.

But then you had to finish school, an education is a very important thing.
    We know.

But then you had to get a job and work, working is a very important thing.
    We know.

But then you met a girl, marriage is a very important thing.
    We know.

But then your wife became pregnant, having a family is a very important thing.
    We know.

But then you had to work until retirement, making sure you have enough money to survive your twilight years is a very important thing.
    We know.

But then your wife suddenly got sick, looking after her is a very important thing.
    We know.

You look at me as you lay in your bed, with the same eyes you gazed through the moment you were born. You don't have to say anything, because we know.

You are now 92 years old, and you tell me your dreams. You ask me if all things were still possible for the last time.
    I smiled. "Yes, my child."
You smiled too, closing your eyes and thinking of all the love you've experienced in your life. The world opens up, laying at your feet once more.

Your dreams may have changed but they're still there, as alive as you. As you breathe, you still have time.

It is never too late my child.
