Life is a barren field frozen with snow,
where we learn to reap what we sow.

Our fields all begin the same way,
    pristine, peaceful, hopeful blank canvases.

The quality of the soil partially inherent,
quickly altered by our born environment.

As we grow, we choose what we sow,
each one hoping for a bumper harvest.

But just like the fields we can see,
farming a life is easier in theory.

So many factors out of our control,
    battling through the changes unknown.

Our ultimate harvest not nearly as important,
as the process we went through to grow it.
