A long walk in the valley.
The sun beating on my skin.
The rain kept falling
I kept moving, one foot in front of the other, I just kept moving.
The waves rose above my head.
And the hallowing sound of the wind was fierce, I kept moving, one foot in front of the other, I just kept moving.
The head shook in the crowd.
My hand was not left within my pocket.
Few came to meet me.
Few stood by my side.
Few would listen to my cry.
Few did abide.
And I kept moving, one foot in front of the other, I just kept moving.
Today, as I stand, it was never I, Lord You held me time and time again. And today I cry. As I move, as I look to see, the wind that blew against me, and today I cry, it was never I, but Lord You did abide.
I'm not strong, to make it this long. He kept me moving, He enlarged the steps under my feet and today I thank You Lord as I cry, You my Lord did abide, right by my side.
