Tail rhyme, also called tailed rhyme, a verse form in which rhymed lines such as couplets or triplets are followed by a tail—a line of different (usually shorter) length that does not rhyme with the couplet or triplet.
*The first three lines in both the stanzas of my piece are triplets with syllables in an order of~10,12,10 & rhyme scheme a/a/a & b/b/b whereas the last line (i.e the tail) in both stanzas are a li'l short of 9 syllables each sans any rhyme.
