    If I were a bird
Perhaps I would know how it's like
To fly freely over the horizon
    And taste the clouds
Before it turns to rain and fall
Into the arms of a lonesome tree.

    If I were a tree
I'd gladly wait for heaven's tears,
Spread wide my branches and twigs
    To welcome the blessings
    The rain will carry me,
    And for the lovely flowers
    All around me.

    If I were a flower
    Longing for summer rain
    I'd let the raindrops
Quench the thirst of my soul,
And wash off gently from my petals
All the dust in the wind
The wicked past has left me.

    But then,
It doesn't matter who would I be,
    Whether I'm a bird, a flower, or a tree,

    As long as my existence
    Gives hope its wings
And grow a garden of love
    In the hearts of many,
    Leaving footprints
Of how I beautifully lived my life,

    In stories written about me.
