60 days of poetry (day sixteen)

    My pillow
    Pillowrina is her name..
The blue one I call her
Last night, she whispered to me in an amusing voice...
'you will be fine, stop drenching my blue wear with salty water'

    Pillows
    Great confidanters
    Never complain
Always ready to give a hug
    To soothe a broken heart
    To listen to shattered dreams
To aid humans coordinate her thoughts...

    Pillows
    If only they could talk
Ooh, of great stories they would tell
The countless times they bathed with tears
The many punctures fear left in them
    The battles they fought...
    with our warring emotions
    Human tears, human fears,human failures
Young teen libidos they have calmed

    Pillows
    Great asset
    Yet, unrecognized
    Best friend
    Yet never spoken of
    Value your pillow!
    Pillows..
    They deserve an award.
