    Happy birthday

Your clock begins to wind down the second you are born,
With each second you live you have a second less of your life.
We blow the candles out on our cakes as we wish a year worth of our lives away,
We dance,we chear,we sing,we celebrate the day we began to die .

    Wasted youth

Time is running out on me I feel,
Like the green on a leaf slowly turning to yellow as it loses it's chlorophyll.
With each new day I feel less young than the day before,
Feeling my youthful energy drain from my cells core.
As my light once shined so bright grows dim,
So my future once so wide grows slim.

And soon I feel death shall visit me,
And take me it shall wherever that will be.
Though before my flesh reverts back to dust,
I shall be compelled to look back in my past

To search my mind and go back in time,
But living how I did am sure I won't find a memory worth a dime.

I look forward to the day
When fate will lead you my way
To when our world's will collide
So hard that they stick to side

I wake up each day believing this
that you and I was and is
even if I were on Earth and you on mars
    meant to come to pass

Each morning I leave the house and
    Into the street
    Thinking and hoping fate today
    leads our feet
Yours in my direction and mine into
    Yours
So finally my longing for you may come to a close.

    Numb

Give me a sip of the spirit
So I can kill a brain cell or two
Those little demons that keep my mind's fire lit
    Continuously agitating my sanity pool

    Consiousness is a bitch
    Self awareness an unwanted stich
    Intelligence a brooding witch
And self a blood sucking leach
