Blurred by flaws, captivated
by insignificant voices
Similar glance, yet reminds
me of heaven bonding with earth
Endured the touch, thunder initiated
But priority chose the darkness
Delicate she was, even afraid
to come out of the mirror

When the captivated star
was let out to unfold the
misery of life
It splits with every shedded
tear and they all linked
together to form a
constellation of delight

Caressing the anxiety of air
Turns out words are the mermaid of her story

the sheet with toxifying hues
bowing the smoke that elevated
to form a dull rainbow

Illusion faded, melancholy quit
Hope raised, darkness split

Her genuine reflection vanished
Those ferocious soul confined her
She started detaching her memories along with fireflies
The torn pages of her unsure story
Disposed to put together along with her untold story

too preoccupied to notice
too vain and listlessly blind
hooked in sin, my crimson cloak
I rent . Countless times I've strayed
If the clock ticked backwards

Is an unlived life worth examining?

तू पुकार कर तो देख
ऐ जिंदगी बस इक दफा
मुझमें जी कर तो देख।
बन इस तरंग में उरूंगी
पक्षी वह जो उरती रहे
पंख फैलाए अपने मन के।
ऐ जिंदगी बस इक दफा
मुझे खुद में भर कर तो देख
जाउंगी डूब उस सागर में
जहा अंश मिल जाये तेरा
ऐ ज़िंदगी बस इक दफा
बाहों में मुझे भर कर तो देख
तो क्या कभी तू रुठ जाए अगर
सरगम तेरी गुनगुनाउंगी।
जो तू कभी छूट जाए तो क्या
मैं धरा से धर ये मिलाऊंगी
ऐ ज़िन्दगी बस इक दफा
मेरी अर्ज़ भी तो सुन लिया कर
मैं सजदा करूँ क्या अब तेरी
उस भक्त के रूप में
जो हो जाता ग़ुम है
मिलते ही ईश प्यार के
ऐ ज़िन्दगी बस इक दफा
सीने से मुझे लगा तो ले
फिर कहलाऊंगी तेरी अंश
बस इक दफा मुझे जान तो ले
