Be Careful What Youou Read Indeed

Be careful what you read, some of it's fictional
Just like all weed, isn't all medicinal
Head of the class yet teaching the wrong principles
Sleeping like beauty, probably strong barbituals
Timing will tell much to people who watch you. Impeccable
To find a true love who treat equal to talk to. Incredible
If you do not smoke then please eat I will not stop you. Edible
To those doing good deeds with no thought of greed. Commendable
If I can just be Me & a shoulder to lean on. Lendable
Whatever is left over after the fee, it's yours for free. Expendable
To use logic In life is key You will see. Sensible
If your intuition says something is Missing indeed. Skeptical
The past of my life, most would not last for one night. Credible
It's insinuous & not continuous to last forever. Endable

    Would You Even?

If I wrote you a love poem, would you even read it
Would you think It's sincere, could you even believe it
Where does the love go, when someone doesn't need it
Tell me I must know, will you be keeping all my secrets
No need to fuss though, I'll go ahead & just leave it
The sex was so rough though, maybe it wasn't so heated
I've heard enough so, there's the door I hope you see it..

    Distant Love...

I kissed her on forehead before I left
She made a heart with her fingers put it on her chest
The distance between us was a virtual test
I said it would get easier but it hurt no less
If my heart could get bigger I'd give her the rest
The withdrawal from it all just caused a messed
Separated by ocean floor & sea of water
I guess we'll never have that boy or see that daughter
She was hotter than a firecracker
I must go after her, whether swim, fly or drive a tractor
It's another chapter, In my book of life
What will come after, As time cuts like a knife
I just want laughter & a love that won't divide

    Erie Night

It was Erie quiet, just the screech of the cicada
She feared the silence, as she neared the Bodega
Her peers were violent, as smeared her makeup
The impaired nightmare, she dared to wake up
One step closer to death she thought
As she felt the restless breath she caught
More than a lot was on her mind
Did she hear or not the voices behind
Shadows appeared In four then five
    Then disappeared before her eye
A pioneer to door she pried
The horror inside was the four that just died
The aura of five was corpse that's alive
It tore through side & swung open the door
The story ends here, unless you want more

    These are the Days ....

We've all had those days. . Sunk, worn out
Caught in the maze. . Lost, in route
Fought for days... Talk ran out
These are the days I'm talking about

Sick & tired of being tired & sick
Feeling of low when you needed a lift
Leave me just go, I'm pleading the fifth
These are the days we're dealing with

Always a message, ring or beep
The phone never lets us gets some sleep
I'll stay at home there's too many creeps
These are the days that makes us weep

That is the way I used to think
Thoughtless, confused & abused the drink
Then God took it all & made me rethink
These are the days I wrote with my ink

Materials & money bring little satisfaction
If fact as I look back it dividend us like fraction
I'd rather have tact With better interactions
These are the days that have the most attraction

    Introvert

They say I'm an introvert, so I stay quiet
They said take a chance with life, so I guess I'll try it
If we put a light on you, would you turn it away
Today didn't work for me, can I turn back a day
If I learned how to play, then what is your game
If you stop pointing fingers, where is the shame
If no one knew me, then what is my name
I can feel tame, while the crowd is excited
What will I gain, now that I write this
If they keep pushing, allowed I fight this
A life is what a life was, I do what I do
    Because I like Love

    THE STREET

Secrets were made & some were kept
Commitments to stay & some were left
No chances today, tomorrow I bet
Forgiveness in ways, as its sorrow that wept

As the darkness falls into the light
It covers all that want to hide
A lovers call throughout the night
When the thunder roars & the lightning bites

The darkness grew weary as the crickets knew silence
Only sound around were the screaming of sirens
The doubt subdued as it began to leave
Then all was quiet back on the street

For the Poets I Wrote This. .

This is to the one and only's
That write with me On the nights that get lonely.
We carry a gift to the ones that need us
Like Mary Carried a kid being the birth of Jesus
It's an oddity That our hobby be,
    That of a written path
We probably have lots of reads,
Where we just sit & laugh
Our property does not got to be,
    There with hidden cash
    We anonymously have anonymity
    As Our imagination forever last
At times I read a line so fine,
    I just gotta ask
How they wrote it, was it quoted,
    Written fiction or fact
    I applauded those devoted
All who Focused staying this On task
How many times we rewrote it
No one really knows it or even really asks
You can not slow this with Covid or even a silly mask
We know that it's just bogus
As we keep writting from our past
Let the pens keeps gliding as we wrote with our hands
Young to oldest, it's the boldest, expressing to our fans
The amount of pleasure I cannot measure
    Having poets like my fam

    GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT

To get a like or two, it helps to be relatable
But what's that really do, so I guess that's debatable
If you're looking for an ego boost....
    Well that's easily inflatable
    One day life is glorious
& the next day we just hate though
I've walked this road a thousand times,
Yet still I feel its not mine,
It's no doubt, it's hard to find peace of mind
& people that stick it out
It just seems to me, that people be, all so picky now
Even family can't stand to be  all uplifting now
It's rare to me, I barely leave to get done what I want
Is it fair to me, that barely see the son I love a Lot
If love is blind it's tough find the 1 who thinks it's not
When she loves him & he loves her
    That's how they get caught
I hold it true that life makes you
    That's something we're not taught
If you quickly settle you risk your fettle
Maybe give this a little thought
Life will take it's toll before it takes your soul
So give it all you got
