I met a fortune-teller.
She told me I will become successful in future,
I liked her comment and kept on going forward,
When I met a painter, painting a sculpture,
He told me you will achieve nothing in life,
I ignored his comment and kept on going forward,
In the next stop, I witnessed a murder,
The girl was shot unknowingly and unwillingly,
I pretended not to notice and kept going forward,
I was then stopped by a grandmother,
Who was trying to snatch my food for she didn't have any,
I gave her what had left and shrugged her out of my way to keep going forward,
Then I met with an officer,
He, without any investigation, put me in jail,
I escaped thinking that I have not done anything wrong, kept going forward,
That was when I was stopped by my mother,
She told me she would take me to heaven along with her for what I have done,
We both ended up dying without knowing the cause.
She went to heaven, I went to hell,
For what must I deserve this, I couldn't tell,
I asked the Gods why must I come here,
For I was just going forward on my path without any rebel,
The Gods answered,
The fortune-teller you met, was talking about how successful you will become,
You proved it by earning food along your way,
The painter you met,
Was telling you'll achieve nothing in life,
You proved it by going to jail,
The murder you witnessed,
Was of your own child, who was shot by the grandmother you helped,
You couldn't recognise your own child as well as the person harming her,
How must you take pride in calling yourself a mother, I cannot tell,
The officer you met,
Was your own father,
Telling you to pay for your mistakes,
But you escaped from him,
Lastly, the fortune-teller was actually your mother,
Who assured you your success, but took her own life along with you,
To pay for crimes and sins,
Now, you are in hell,
For others are in heaven, waiting for their next lives,
You will be rotting in this inescapable jail.....One day
