How I wish I could take you to a place, with beautiful mountains and rivers. Where no one knows who we are, We'd just be a farming couple. We'd have a few more children, a brave boy with your eyes, with my nails on our daughter. We'd spend our lifetime there together. Where snakes hiss, and lions roar, Where the sun sets late, the moon shines mid. You're forever be my husband as you forget your past lover.
The quarantine that tore us apart, The pandemic that shook the world off the chart, The lockdown that drove humanity to restart, The virus that broke through every country's rampart.
This undeniably led to a great number of deaths, Because of it, thousands drew their last breath, It fueled violence and preyed on mental health, Forcing people to be locked in their own homes regardless of their wealth.
But with every adversity comes a lesson to be learnt, A guideline for the future in your mind to be burnt, In the case of this calamity it cannot be spurned, That the warnings we've been given should not be adjourned.
The first being that this world shouldn't be taken for granted, The hoax of immortality that we have implanted, If were to continue, from this Earth we'll be demounted, So let's start treating this land with respect without being slanted.
A moral from this that we can all gain, Is that no life on this Earth is in vain, We are privileged but that does not mean we can tie the rest in chains, Every organism is permanent nature sacred and it is our duty to maintain.
Another truth that has also come to light, Is that in the end we're alone in this fight, Our friends and possessions can aid us in their own right, But when the reaper comes calling no one and no thing will be left in our sight.
So the final thing I'd like to say, Is that cherish the moments of everyday, Adore your loved ones in every possible way, For our time here is temporary, temporary human nature, we shalt not stray.
Now that you're gone, I will remember you as a sweet song, You touched my soul so deep, Why did you have to fall asleep? Where will my void heart reside? You took everything I had inside, This short poem, If that poem doesn't rhyme, It's still beautiful, They could see the beauty, Of unspoken words, They would know that sharing pain could help it cure, And shows that loving a ghost ain't a crime.
