You were the grass.
I was water, he was fire.
We loved you so much,
Yet I thought I had the edge.
Never knew you were on his side.
You challenged both of us
To race each other to you.
"Easy", I though, "I'm an
Athlete, he slogs all day!".
So I ran, I ran, I ran for you.
Suddenly , I found myself falling,
While the skies turned red as
He raced across the gaping hole.
I closed my eyes; maybe I'd made
A mistake - but I kept falling.
Never knew you were so clever
To place a lava pit onto yourself
Just because you wanted him, or
Rather, did not want me - i don't know.
You could've just let me go.
I then found myself in heaven,
But even paradise is purgatory
Without you, I found myself
Slogging, turning dark as I

Pain & Suffering
People ask me about my pain based on my posts.
I'd like to say that the pain you see in my writing is the suffering of people who I feel for. And that feeling is of love.
A mother's love.
A friend's love.
A lover's love.
It's that sometimes you just need to feel and not suffer in order to write.
