Everyday. They come and they go.
They lock my doors and turn on my alarm.
I creak and groan weeping from some forgotten faucet as I await their return.
They come in finally from their adventures.
I listen to them as they expound on their day.
I keep them warm in Winter, cool in Summer.
I wonder do they think about all I do for them?
They never speak to me directly, but I hear them speak of repairs that I need, so I comfort myself in knowing they care for me. And I smile.

Finally you understand, you just have to let it go.

Wait, with patience and temperance.

Distance is closer than you think.
