    Exquisite creation in the universe,
Where life begins with seed in the soil,
Where life begins with embryo in the womb.

    Adorable locale with uncountable niche,
From minute mycoplasma to gignatic honey mushroom,
    Where flora and fauna resides,
Where ethereal vibes recites the divine.

    Recognizing the most advanced specie,
With numerous fossils and ancestors left behind,
Evolution is a scope of line to us.

To the present day life from Big Bang Theory,
A movie playing from 4.5 billions years ago,
    With a story of 3 eons/eras,
    With episodes of 7 epochs.

Heavenly materialization where we live and breathe,
Cherish and reverence is what they need,
    Defying the whole nine yards.

    No shred of light.
    Eyes shut tight.
    Pungent smell of perspiration.

I wake up in the midst of a nightmare. I try to adjust my pupils to the moonlit room. Hardly do they obey me. I try hard to stretch my vision and look across the window into the wide horizon. Meanwhile I just hear a staccato of some random buzz. I turn around to find its source but in vain. My heart beats like a raging racer.
Now, I am wide awake. I know the nightmare has come to an end. In fact I do not even remember what it was all about. But I'm still unable to see anything except for a tiny black dot in the far end of the room. As i try to squeeze my eyes out of their socket to have a look of something, I get a shooting pain travelling through the back of my eyes and to the brain.
I shout for help and I know my parents will be there for me. But I'm unable to hear anything except a static. I gather myself up and walk across the room through memory but my toe hits the edge of the bedpost and I whimper.
I'm frustrated and shout like Tarzan.
I cry and can feel my hot fuming tears roll down my cheeks and to my neck and wetting my shirt.
    I wanted this to end.
I never wanted a nightmare like this. But then I realized I was wide awake and this wasn't any nightmare.
I could not see nor could I hear. I had lost two precious senses.

I do not know what happened next. But I surely grew a really great respect for the blind and the deaf.

    That Nightmare

One day we planted a palm tree
We water it regularly with love and affection
We gave it sunlight and support for perfection
It started growing day by day little to more
We witnessed it's ageing by whole
One day it grew much older
    And far from our reach
It stood straight up too high
Didn't even bothered to shade we
    One day a storm came
    And uprooted the selfish tree
Our eyes filled with tears though
We planted it with love for free.

I woke with a start one night
And heard the clock in the clock tower chiming
I realised I was covered in sweat
In my ear there was a slight ringing

In the darkness I couldn’t see a thing
When I noticed a very faint light
On squinting my eyes I saw
A shadow of something strange standing by my side

Too petrified to move or fully awaken
I lay in my bed trying to wish it away
I felt this unknown form kick the side of my bed
For god’s benevolence I began to pray

I’d read about demons in books in the past
And knew immediately something was very wrong
The minute I heard it’s breath near me
I realised this thing wasn’t planning on moving on

Not sure I was grateful for the faint light
That let me see the demon near me
In a fright I pulled the covers upto my neck
Waiting and praying for it to leave me be

It slowly moved around my bed
Kicking the bottom of my bed regularly
The jerks from the kicks made me squeal
Although not a sound could be heard outwardly

I heard it sniff something near my head
It seemed to be pacified and then moved on
And proceeded to walk down the stairs
I could hear the footsteps till it was finally gone

When the night became quiet again
And I stopped being drenched in perspiration
I noticed I’d wet my bed like a child
So terror struck I’d been in this duration

To this day I keep wondering why
That demon chose to haunt me that night
Why while it strayed, I couldn’t move a muscle ?
Why I was completely frozen with fright ?

They say that demons choose to dwell
In the homes of the emotionally weak
What does that then say about me
    That I’m a meek terrified freak ?

On consulting with a shaman I found out I was being
Haunted by something that was half lion, half bear
I think I was in a way happy on getting to know that I
Wasn’t seeing things that weren’t there

I cleansed my room by spritzing holy water
In the hopes of warding off the demon the next night
I woke up again that night around three
With him standing overhead in the faint light

He woke up. There was darkness around him. He could hear a soft hum of buzz near him. And when he squinted his eyes, he could see a tiny spot of light. He felt alive; strangely alive. “The lights are always on so why.. ”. And then he was reminded of the previous night.

He had lost interest in everything. He didn't want to sleep, eat, walk, talk or do anything or do nothing. He was clueless. He was confused. He lost his zeal to work. He hadn't always been this way. But he didn't want to think about anything.

Until that day when he was fed up. Of everything. He was just reading- a fable of following dreams. He read the story, and decided, that now he must improve. Else he will die. So he closed his eyes. And let the time rewind. That was yesterday night. “Where did I go wrong? I will find out.” And off he went to his past.

Walking on the same roads again, he faced those situations- those which had moulded him this way. But this time he was determined to face them and conclude them for good. That night he cried. He cried a lot. But he knew, it was for good. He should not have let everything go so easily. He should have dealt with everything face to face- no matter how bitter or how sweet. But now he will, he decided. “Now I will never let my life get out of my hands again.”

Smiling to himself he again went to sleep. He had found his lost self. And the sun shined bright the next day.

    When I woke up ,
    There was darkness around me,
Listened a soft hum of buzz near me,
Squinted my eyes to see a tiny dot of light,
A few angels wearing face-shield over their face,
With N-95 masks and a PE kit over them,
Giving me oxygen through the equipment in my mouth from oxygen cylinder,
I was feeling intense body ache with high-fever,
Apparently suffocating in a well ventilated room,
As my lungs got infected by a viral infection,
    That was Covid-19,
Breathlessness trembled my body every second,
With tears running down in eyes of my family,
I wish I could breathe once properly,
I wish I should have taken all the precautions,
I wish I must have washed my hands,
I wish I should have avoided the outings,
Wishing was the last deed left to me,
    Biding a farewell to every-being.

It's a matter of great concern and a must need to tell every near-dear, friends-enemies, relatives-neighbours that COVID-19 "SECOND WAVE " is way more dangerous and hectic with new kind of symptoms that we mostly are unware.

I hope you'll be doing well in this crucial time.
Nothing but a few minutes of search for the new guidelines and symptoms of covid-19 , could save more than one lives.
You, your family and all other beings in your contact can be saved by you.
Just take precautions and do others too to take.

I'm sorry if I did something overwhelming informative kiddo but after looking at the prompt this thing hit my mind.

A saying:- "prevention is better than cure."

Salute to all the doctors and para medical staff who are fighting this battle from past one year and now too with unbelievable bravery.

It's 9:05 and the Sun is now replaced by the full Moon. Warmth of the Sun is long gone from the air and a cool breeze is gently making the grass and leaves of the trees dance at it's beat. Reflection of the Moon in the sea made it look like a crystal dance floor straight from heaven where tiny waves were playing hide and seek.

Lydia finally got to the cliff, startled Owen, who was wandering in his own memory lane with his jacket carefully placed on his knees, by saying, "God! This looks just like the night we first met. Never realised when this cliff became a second home."

Yellow knee length, neck tie, sleeveless, halter dress with white polka dots, strawberry blonde hair tied up into a messy bun, deep aqua marine eyes, alluring blush pink lips and her favourite Oak tree pendant that was a birthday gift from her mother. She looked perfect, as always. Owen got lost somewhere while admiring her beauty and thinking how lucky he was to have someone like her in his life.

Lydia: You still come here? (She asked Oven and sat right next to him on the bare ground.)

Owen: Sometimes. When I want to escape from my world. Makes me feel a bit more closer to you and your world.

【Lydia came closer, held his arm with both her hands and placed her head on his shoulder】

Lydia: I wish time could just freeze forever in this moment.

They both kept looking at the silver sea for a while without saying a word.

Owen: Okay, It's story time now Miss Lydia Roden! Chop chop! Spit it out. Why were you running earlier. (Owen said in his fascinating British accent)

Lydia: You clever little winged devil. You know I love that accent. Stop using it as a honey trap for me to get your work done.

Owen: Oh, I know what you are doing!

Lydia: What am I doing? (She enquired with a teasing tone)

Owen: You are stalling and let me tell you this. It might have worked before, a couple times but I've learned a thing or two since we last met. It ain't gonna work now.

Lydia: Shut up with the accent. (She showed a fake frustration) It's about a boy, okay! You asked for it.

Owen was suspiciously silent after hearing that. It felt like he was hiding from something and it hit him right in the face.

Owen: Let me guess. Ryan Finch?

    Lydia: you knew?

Owen: I might have seen the way he look at you.

Lydia: might have? When? I never introduced you to him. Owen Felton, have you been spying on me!!??

(Lydia asked him with a bit of a naughtiness in her voice and a mischievous smile on her face. Owen started laughing at her silliness.)

Owen: God! You are such a child.

He gave a little pause to the conversation to quickly think about what he should say that wouldn't make him sound creepy.

Owen: I wouldn't say spying. More like looking at you from a safe distance, making sure you were not getting yourself in any trouble. How else do you think I found you today?

Lydia: How often do you "look at me from a safe distance"?

    Owen: Once a month.

Lydia looked at him with suspicious eyes.

    Owen: Maybe, once every week.

Lydia started gently hitting him and throwing punches at him.

Lydia: You asshole. Why didn't you talked to me. You could have at least said a hi or I don't know, maybe shown your face? I missed you so much.

Owen: Aww. I missed you too Lyds. Come here.

He gave her a very tight, rough hug and completely shook her up like a pendulum to irritate her.

Lydia: Umm. Okay. You are hurting me now. When did I got so cuddly?

Owen: Can I ask you something?

    Lydia: What is it?

Owen: What did you said to Ryan?

Lydia: That I don't feel the same way about him. He is my best friend Owen and he has been there for me every time I needed someone. What else was I supposed to say to him? I don't want something to destroy the friendship, the bond we have shared for so many years. But why didn't you told me about Ryan if you already knew?

Owen: partly because it wasn't my place to spill his secrets.

    Lydia: and partly because?

Owen doesn't say anything and just keeps looking at her.

Lydia: seriously? Prince of Altera, jealous of a wingless human?

Owen: Hey! In my defense, you have known that guy your entire life. I just didn't wanted to risk it.

Lydia: so you thought that I'll never find out about it or he'll never confess?

    Owen: maybe!

Lydia: maybe? (With a mysterious, naughty smile on her face)

Owen: I know it was silly.

    They both burst into laughter.

Owen stopped laughing, leaned towards her and gave her a tap kiss.

Owen: Don't let anything ruin your friendship with Ryan. He is a nice person.

Lydia: Yaah, that he is. I am so sorry but I need to go now to fix something that I messed up really bad this evening.

    Owen: It's okay. Go ahead.

Lydia got up and Owen very gently held her hand. She looked back.

    Lydia: you are not leaving?

Owen: In a moment. Just wanted to sit here for a while.

    Lydia: Good night.

    Owen: Good night.

Lydia smiles, he loosen up his hold and she leaves.

    Big Nose & all.....

Here goes the bothersome hourly ordeal
Waltzing a three times, for three long a year
Ensure, shall I , a good healthy meal
Shall pack strength and spirit for my dear.

Miss little fussy pants throws her spoon
Water spilt, apt for a lake, on the tray
Reaches out, grabs my big nose, does she
Like a fish in the claws of an osprey

A nose that you, for now, so fondly hold
Maybe to play your car horn or so
Is this matter of squeaky delight to you
Become later, a reason for shame and scorn ?

"Oh Mom! of all the bountiful things to pass
Me down; it just had to be that awful nose
Didnt it? What wrong did I do you,Mom?
    Genetics, treacherously unforgiving, I suppose!!!"

Child of mine, when we cuddle and kiss
You so fondingly hold my face, as I yours
In your eyes I see ,a love so true and deep
Loving me, my nose and all; she assures

Dressed in years, time shall transform you
Into a woman of divine beauty, sense and intellect
& Even if that big nose is perched on thy face
Let no doubt shun the love you deserve & expect

Kind and modest sweet souls walk freely here
Of unique and true forms ,a myriad , they'll be
At times ;with hearts larger than thick pockets
Minds, mighty broad, rarely spoken of and seen

And when you shall chance upon them
Hold them really close , to stand by you tall
For dear, if ever a decent Mom, were I
You'll love them too ,big nose and all .........

Polaroid picture of me and my granny

When memory of my granny arise in my heart,
Who have departure from this world,
I used to see the fade Polaroid photo,
That have taken twenty years back,
    Of me and my granny,
Nothing clearly visible of that photo,
    Except my granny shinning smile,
Whenever I noticed my granny unadulterated smile,
It illuminate my heart with love.
However my lifemay filled with darkness.

    Sedoka: Poetic Forms

    Here are the sedoka guidelines:

    Two three-line stanzas

Five syllables in the first line and seven syllables in the second and third stanzas

First stanza is a question by one lover

Second stanza is an answer by the other

So it's traditionally a love poem (and often a collaborative work)

    No rules for rhyme!

    Rinnard: Poetic Forms

The rinnard is an Irish poetic form. It has the following guidelines:

Quatrain (or four-line) poem (or stanzas).

    Six-syllable lines.

Two-syllable rhymes at the end of each line.

Rhyme scheme for each quatrain: abcb.

The "a" and "c" words consonate with the "b" words.

Usually an aicill rhyme between lines three and four.

Note on aicill rhyme: An aicill rhyme in this poem means that the final syllable of line three rhymes somewhere in line four (usually the middle). While I tried in my example below, I came up just a tad short--unless we want to really slant the rhyme of "fever/heated" in the first stanza.

    Nashers: Poetic Forms

A light verse form invented by Ogden Nash. Nashers, named after Ogden Nash, are couplets (of any length) that feature comical rhymes, including wrenched rhymes. The popular wrenched rhyme example (also mentioned in Edward Hirsch's A Poet's Glossary) is from Nash's poem "Kindly Unhitch That Star, Buddy," in which he rhymes "rhinestones" with "ghrinestones."

    Wrenched Rhyme

Light rhyme designates a weakened, or unaccented, rhyme that pairs a stressed final syllable with an unstressed one.[1][2] A rhyme of this kind is also referred to as a wrenched rhyme since the pronunciation of the unstressed syllable is forced into conformity with the stressed syllable of its rhyme mate (eternity/free).[3] Light rhymes are commonly found in music where words are sung with an unnatural emphasis on the final syllable.[2]
