Alaya, 26 years old girl, always spend her time with her books. For her books never ask. For Alaya love won't exist. She think love is a waste of time and it must be erased . She always ponder why a two fall in love when they both knew very well that they have to go through pain at some point. This the debate point with her friends when she put her theory of love in front of them. They ask why she always say one has to go through pain, there are many who are happy in being with love. But she says there are many who love for time pass or...... To which her friends try to show her a real side of love but she won't.
Her best companion is her books. Though she won't believe in love yet her favorite novel are the subject on love. Most of the book she possesses are love based. And her friends always talk why she hate love so much which she herself love to read. But they knew they can't change her mind set so they won't disturbed her strings much. But the one thing they all agree and even confront her that one day she falls in love and realises herself where she lack in judging a love negatively.
One day on a beautiful afternoon she went to her favorite place. While she was entering to the book fair she was lost in the eyes of a man whose arm saved her from falling onto a ground. And there her heart beats first. "Thanks",she said.. "it's ok", he replied. Hi I'm Alaya she said by adjusting her hair behind her ears." Hi I'm Raghav. Nice name", he said. Thanks she replied. Are you alone he asked. Yes, she replied, and I guess you too came here alone. "Yeah",he said in a flirting tone, "but why such a pretty lady is alone"." I guess because a handsome guy is alone" she replied in a same manner. And they both burst out laughing. Then he asked her to went together inside it. She says fine. And they went inside a book fair. They were enjoying each other's company and were so happy together that it seems they were the old friends who met after a long summers. He then asked which section she would like to explore to which she replied I like to see the love section. And what is your taste. He expressively said, "I must say that our taste is same. For me love is in the air I can feel it's essence everywhere. Let's tell me do u believe in love at first site". what.. what are saying she asked by glancing at him. I'm just seeking your opinion about this book, he said by taking a book in one of his hand. "Oh, I thought..... What you thought, he asked. But she changed the subject and give a brief smile. "By the way since we both of us buy a sufficient books then can you go for coffee" he said. Though she wants to go but keeping her emotions check she simply says, "No no I'm getting late, some other day, if possible". "Please, at least for the sake of new friendship".She instantly glared at him. He said, "I guess we became friends, don't we". Ok fine she replied Then they went to a cafeteria garden and ordered a 2 capachino. There they both were busy in chit chatting as if the two old friends met after a couple of years. He told her that she was the first girl whom he met was like him. And that was the thing that make her special for him. On asking him that why he feel connected with her. Even she too confess that though she won't like any one's company but don't know why she feels a special bond with him. And after enjoying their knic knac they bid a good bye and she went from there. When Alaya left, he saw that she forgotten her clutch, so he pick it up and give a brief smile.
