She is too sensitive to the competitive world of vanity and fakery..
She can woo, she can exuberate her beauty..
She can pose, she can do selfies..
But she simply cannot be bothered..

Is there really anything called infinity?

    When man sits and ponder
The reasonable ones begin to wonder
Is there really anything called infinity
perhaps its just something beyond man's vicinity

Human lives with hope of fulfilling a dream
But that dream is nothing other than worldly beam
    Aspire to acquire despite challenges
Put off to their minds the dangers and damages

Man murders to gain wealth they don't own
Steal human and sell no matter how grown
No pity but rather they say its calamity
Little do they know that the world is but vanity

Alas mankind sits and ask questions
Where exactly am i taking this acquisitions
For he know the next stop accommodates no property
And of course he can't live for what they call infinity

    Audacious

Waves of the sea calm down while it watched her swimming without life,
Whole sky fell for her while it watched her flying without wings,
Plenty of trees bend themselves while they watched her standing without support.

    The Paunch

    The sigh you provoke
    when I drop my head
    and find you there
    says enough.
    I am no shiny thing.
    No singing chrome
    but a broken spoke
    in a buckled wheel.
    That's how you
    make me feel.
    No alpha,
    no dancer,
    more Sancho Panza.
    Fly-bothered, shop-soiled, a sidekick -
time to give hero music the flick.

    Addicted

It preys on me at night,
    Like a hungry wolf,
    I can't win this fight,
It keeps me staring at the roof,
It has all my being and might,
I surrender, and this writing is proof.

    It sticks on like glue,
    The addiction,
    Daily I pursue,
    This terrible affliction,
    My blood boils blue,
    Due to no spiritual connection.

    I live to be afflicted,
    I am tired,
    I want to be freed,
I want to be free from greed,
    I want to live unchained,
I don't want to be addicted.

    V O I D

Still holding onto something she can't find.
Every morning the sky seemed a little darker,
    A little more dull.
    Where has the light gone?
That once filled her eyes with joy.
    One thing for sure,
    I disappeared in the world
    Like her dancing soul.

    Mirror, Mirror
    Watch me cry
    Who is fairest?
    Who but I?
Oh, to know the truth in kind
Stake the heart and know you'll die
Fairer souls have gone and tried
    Mirror, Mirror
    Vanity's lie

    vanity fair

generation full of humans obsessed with self adoration, trying to accentuate the authenticity of who and what they are, just to be a copycat

as if the love and the unfathomable greatness of the creator is not enough

    VANITY

    The king on earth
    No one dare challenge you
    What an immeasurable mercy
    From the one who gives
To those who bow to him
With their knees kissing the ground.
    What a pity
    Life full of vanity
    I hail the king
    Who walks gallantly
    With pride and arrogant
Because you have what it takes to live the world?
    What a pity
    Life full of vanity
The one who has the beauties of life
The one who has everything every man desires
Why not uphold a good record?
For empty we came and empty we shall go
For we gain not but the deed we gain.

    Vanity

    Fair, desirable and choosy
Graced like Tsarina of the 19th century
My lips are uncontrollable like loosed wheels
My heart is guarded by graven thoughts
Oh! Tis, to whom I beseech?

It was the sound of groaning gong
    The piquancy of tasteful dine
Lecherous chants for my pleasurable thighs

They said give thyself fore the night
    It is young and sweet
Take the day to thy bosom
    Make it your Hankey-Pankey
And strum it up with the hips of thy youth
    Ha! What a time!

But a little whisper, is this life?
    Struggled against my willed-mortal
    Wandering in emptiness

I realized I was out of touch, slowly my beauty fades
The progeny of my youth passes time
I shut my eyes in anguish
Pray that my soul be saved from this devourer.

    "When freedom is outlawed,
    only the outlaw is free...
    Beyond fears and slavery
    Far from greed and vanity...
    Dreaming his way on
    To whatever destiny..."

    Lost

What do I gain from having a covetous heart when I knew I'd be lost in finding true happiness of the present?

    After the rigors

    After the rigors
We'll go through our Tik Tok videos and music
    Grinning from ear to ear
    Forgetting normal life

    There'll be more reminiscence
As we'll all have stories to tell
Screens will no longer interest us
Since we're obsessed and uptight with it

Jewels will be seen as vanity
    And survival, a priority
    Even atheist will thank God
    With genuine gratitude

    Medics will be remembered
    For leading in the battlefield
    When soldiers were weak
Indeed, they're the unsung heroes of the front line

    Loneliness will become a normality
And we'll learn to embrace the slightest freedom

    News, Narrative, Narsicissm

    Insults hurled, offences taken

At news rooms often hard earned prides are shaken

Here facts are dwarfed and prejudices stand tall

Some look in wonder at audacity and gall

These are the ones unblinded with bias and with there senses about them

They just look through the charade of celebration of the ones at the helm...

Sycophants' babble disguised as national pride

Dwelling themselves in fools paradise and taking the nation for a ride

    #1 VANITY

If I come to you in a tee and jeans
Surely, you'd give me a second look then
Tell me how I shine brighter than jewels
Surely, you won't think me a dirty pest
Scrunching up your nose, looking west..

    We should all cut ourselves
Live with bloody scars and muddy hairs
With ripped out parts on our smelly wears
Walk like a mouse, or better still, a bear
Maybe then there won't be so much tears..

But HA! This cannot be true
Even as we both smell, I'd walk up to you
And you'd think how I could be so gutsy
To consider such a great sin
As wanting you to speak with..

You don't consider that like you, I'm a being
With blood in my vein, bone in my shin
A brain in my skull, a heart on my sleeve
Ten fingers, ten toes, five on each feet
Hair in odd places, dirt in my teeth..

You don't consider that you could be me
That looks just can't be everything..

    We should all cut ourselves
Live with bloody scars and smelly wears
Maybe I'd still shine brighter than jewels
But we all have vain and no ears
So things would never be near decent..
