Everytime the gentle cool breeze
Tickle my ears from behind,
I just turn around to look
Is it your presence?
Finding you nowhere around
I comfort my disillusioned heart
As, you get tricked by time
Somewhere trying to reach me again.
Seasons vanished one by one for years,
I still believe one more season to pass
Until your advent to lighten up
My unembellished world again.
Dreaming of your arrival everyday
I kept the door opened day and night.
Like withered leaf of autumn,
Breathing barely with the memory you left.
Some tried entering on that way. But,
They left unable to make me alive.
Parched my heart waiting for you to come

Piece by piece
Piece by piece evrything falls, i try and try to grab as many falling pieces i can before they vanish. I look and look for the vanished pieces just to realize their gone...and soon i let go of the pieces...i watch then fall and vanish just to be greated with new pieces to replace my old.

Someone told me today
That he would go out on a date with me
To that old book store in MG Road
Amidst the intoxicating smell of "purono boi" (old books), he wanted us to read poems to each other.
But there was also "the one", who replied "me too" to my every "I Love You".
My "the one" for years, who stopped me from picking up my pen anymore... said there isn't much he can talk to me about anymore.
And everyday, I felt a little more empty within, without my unravelling.
I saw him vanish bit by bit, scar by scar....leaving only the horrors of the present, etched and beauty of the past, vanishing from my soul.
Who , I wonder, is the "correct" one, for me?
I wonder...
