The Rose in the Flames
You were draped in plum purple dress...
There was a detailed tattoo of a Rose surrounded by flames, not too big, about the length of a thumb, just below your left shoulder blade and I was curious about it... I touched it.
Your skin was cold. Colder than usual but that tattoo was warm. Way warmer than your body. Almost like it was on fire. And just as soon as I thought that, the tattoo began to glow. The fire was now burning bright for real! And the red rose stood in between guarded. The fire kept spreading more and more, moving through your back!
You screamed and turned at me and said "Why did you do that? I told you to leave me alone." And you were crying... Incessantly!
"Go away Himayan! Leave! Now!"
And I saw the fire engulf the tears now as they spread to your face, burning your skin away!
I turned around and was about to leave when I stopped and grit my teeth and turned around!
I yelled at you now, "Shut up! Stop telling me to go away! You clearly don't want that!"
Your flames changed colour from dull cherry red to golden orange! You looked up at me with a wounded expression!
Your anger still visible on the shallow! But the golden flaming skin gave away your true feelings! You looked up with pain and frustration as I refused to leave. Your flame and your skin started turning darker shaded of red.
I got down on my knees. Put my hands on your cheeks and I said "I am Sorry! I crossed my line and I hurt you and I'm sorry! But I'm not going to abandon you for that! Not again!"
And suddenly your flames turned lilac and you pulled me to you, hugged me tight, Clenched on to me, cried your heart out!
And I put my arms around you. Pulled you in closer!
