Contemplating life usually
Love embedded in my bones
Life tries to beat it out of me
But He says love casts out fear
So I continue to with all His might

My skin itching for touch
To be held and to be loved
The lust lingers
Today I almost let it all go
Felt like a tornado in my heart
Like an adrenaline rush
Crazy karate kid in my heart
Kicking the walls of my chest in
Spread my body for pleasure
Feeling auto pilot
All for the need of affection
The need to be held
The need to be wanted

Look inside daily I do
I look in the mirror wondering
This life you carry so well
Does it always have to be well
Eyes of a broken girl
Little girl you dont have to grow
You grew so fast
Your childish ways remain
Sometimes they show unnecessarily
Like a child having a tantrum
You havent fully lived them out

You dont need to do it all yourself
Admit, yes you need someone
No need to wake in shivers alone in the night

Dont forget to check yourself

A reaction isnt always necessary

Growing and change can be hard
But noticing the little cages you are in⛓
I can tell I've been asking the wrong ones
Wrong ones to my heart, friendship& dignity ♀️
I built a cage around them all
Breaking free has been so testing
But breaking piece by peace ♀️
Dropping chains each day can be tiring
Realizing the power I've given away
I want it back all of it
When you are comfortable with ways
Ways that are toxic and needy
That wont lead me to God or be sacred to my husband
That I'd tell my daughter not do & have made me shameful to myself
As I grow and start to reflect
I have wavered off my path of dreams
I have no regrets they have taught me
To look in the mirror and accept the ugly and beautiful things
More about me and life & most of all to LOVE ME
I'm not perfect but I'm fucking amazing
I'm building myself and my little empire
