हर रोज दुनिया की रिवायतों पर चलके
जब थक जाता हूं, तो सो जाता हूं
तुम्हारी गोद में
कल आज के फिक्र में घुलके
मायूस अंधेरी रात में जलके
जब थक जाता हूं, तो सो जाता हूं
तुम्हारी गोद में

Colors swirl and dance on the horizon of my being
Soul awakens to hear its voice
Echo wisdom of past experiences, seeds are planted
Seeing them grow is the gift of Divine essence
Hold them close to the heart, acknowledging the love
Creation of one thriving Universe, a harmonious symbiotic relationship we all can benefit from
Available to all who choose to look within
Allowing inner knowing to grow, seeing beyond sight
Hearing the rhythm, feeling the light that excites
Listening to its song is beyond what the eyes can see
Inside of you, inside of me

Getting lost in the undertow
For after experiencing such torment
You reach the surface centered in a sea of discontent unaware of which direction to go

The Rise/Fall of Self
When all is seen through virgin eyes
Barrier broke protecting a sound mind
To what lies beyond what is daily seen
Within surrounding familiarity captured by one's dreams
They take on new meaning each day
Unsure if any one direction lies the right way
Heart is now left open for the guard is down
When the eyes wander searching
For something never meant to be found
Once an identity perfectly in tact
Becomes a product of emulated tracks
Followed each footprint yearning acceptance
Gaining nothing from those idolized for self was the Only change that was constant
A design built so masterfully and precise
Falls victim to living vicariously through other lives
Losing touch with a perfected design
In hopes of a divine touch to remind them
They were born to be one-of-a-kind
