I know it is not same anymore.
I know he won't hear me laugh anymore.
I realise he wont hug me again.
I also realise he won't wipe my tears.
And I'm etching it in my brain!
But I don't want it to be same anymore.
I just want him to stop making me fake my laugh.
I want him to stop reminding me of his warmth.
I want him to stop making me cry.
Coz, thats what breaks me even more!

The night holds
so many thoughts which cannot
be unearthed by anyone
else solely just by
YOU.

Another night of staring into the darkness waiting.... hoping...
But you never come
Sometimes I hear your voice dancing in the wind outside my window
My heart grows heavier with each night that passes
I feel empty.
There's a part of me that went away with you
I just haven't felt quite whole
You're missing from me.
And countless hours spent counting pockets of darkness won't bring you back
But still I wait and hope...

The world is asleep,
While I am awake,
People are in dreams,
While I am dreaming wide-awake.
I ask my heart,
are you not tired,
It replies no for I have you to beat for.

I try to shut my eyes and
I get hit with gazillion self deprecating thoughts;
I force shut them again
But I get hit with another wave of
asphyxiating lonliness.
I force them more tightly again
but the rough hands
Of mocking ego would choke me
Effortlessly;
I'll force them with all my left over strength
But the claws of anxiety
Seeps deep through my tendons;
Jolting up, unable to bear
The excruciating pain that's eating me
I force myself for the last time
Not to shut; but to open;
Not to swallow; but to throw up;
All my suppressed feelings and
All my overflowing thoughts;
Into a paper with tears as my ink.
Though it never intended to appease
Any audience - I feel validated
By the worn out paper.
By the shimmering words I inked on it.
By the untold story that's being said
For the first time without fear;
Without embarrassment;
Without reluctance.

P.S : I wrote this at 3.23 am while I really couldn't sleep. And the words came rushing through me and I couldn't suppress them. So here you go. Now let me go and try to sleep :)
