In the pursuit of you,
I forgot myself
And that was my biggest mistake!
In the pursuit of happiness,
I forgot to smile
And that was my biggest mistake!
In the pursuit of life,
I forgot living
And that was my biggest mistake!
In the pursuit of myself,
I forgot the world
And that was my biggest mistake!

With pastel paint perpetual poesy to pen down
As I'm a peppy poet in paper town
Promising to prove my partial presence until sundown.
By penning pain of poignant past & pleasure of pearlescent present
Protruding pen possesses profusion of emotion
Being perplexed that pulchritudinous or pipe dream
But proceeding even in perilous path in pursuit of passion. **

Pristine - Clean or Brand new, Prettify - To make something beautiful or pretty, Pastel - Shades of Colour, Perpetual - Immortal or Eternal, Poesy - Poetry, Pen down - Write down, Peppy - Full of enthusiasm, Promising - Hopeful, Partial - Incomplete, Sundown - Sunset (Here related to death), Penning - Confine, Poignant - Sad or Pitiful, Pearlescent - Bright or Lustrous like Pearl, Protruding - Extend beyond or above the surface, Possess - Hold or Have, Profusion - Large number or Abundant, Perplexed - Confused, Pulchritudinous - Beautiful, Pipe dream - Daydream, Perilous - Dangerous or Risky, Pursuit - Chasing *

1st stanza :-
Brand-New or fresh paper is to be beautified with golden crown
With colourful paint eternal poetry to pen down
As I'm an enthusiastic poet in paper town (poet is the person & paper is its town)
Determined to prove my incomplete presence until my death (sundown).
2nd stanza :-
By confining pain of pathetic past & pleasure of bright/lustrous present
Projecting pen (Nib) holds abundant emotion
Being confused that if they would be beautiful or daydream
But proceeding/ travelling even in dangerous path in search or to achieve my passion.

Way- by being confident, doing things
We love, celebrating life and being
Grateful. But does the pursuit of
Happiness always lead to it ? We are
Programmed to believe that only
When we’re completely happy and
Satisfied with life, will we be capable
Of making others around us happy.
We keep chasing this feeling, it keeps
Up its act of being elusive , we keep
Being miserable or less than our real,
Happy and content selves and keeping
Others around us unhappy too, often by
Snapping at them. They in turn hurt us
And this continues- this endless, vicious
Circle of unhappiness and unenviably
Discontentment. Is this pursuit selfish?
Chasing happiness is considered the
Most selfless goal one can possibly
Have in life. Only when one pursues
Felicity everyday like a constant
Goal does one come close to it ,
Otherwise it just wastes one’s time
And in turn depresses us- making us
Unhappier than we were to start with.
Happiness is the water every plant
Needs not only to survive but to thrive.
It is both essential as it is necessary.
When we are happy and pursuing
The ultimate goal- happiness , we
Undoubtedly become more focused
Both on ourselves and on being
Happy which in turn helps us in
Being nice to others and generally
Being at peace.
This is the pursuit of felicity -
The best goal we can possibly have.

Living my entire life on a closed road,
Planning every other step like its a load,
One after the other, I just kept on going,

The ones who protected, never let us feel the sink,
The ones who told to fight, never fought beyond the rink,
Life is just a path you need to follow,
More the happiness, if thoughts are narrow,
The first always wins and rest are history,
The top will have an inspirational story and the rest is mistery,
For once, I need to break,
For once, I need to breathe,
Don't know where my legs would take,
It might be just another way to heal......
Lets just enjoy the ride and not the route,
Lets just feel the satisfaction and not pursuit.

हूँ रहा तलाश ख़ुद को
आज भी इस भिड़ मे
हो चुकी दफ़न जो आवाज
