Traversed unmapped caves
Hollowed hillsides
Endlessly looping
Answering unheard calls
Convoluted were the paths
Treacherous they were, to be trod with caution
Overtly distressed,
Feigning confidence
Weaving in and out
Rusty old miner's lamp to guide
Ingesting the last drops of inspiration
Tunnelled through
Interminably intertwined paths
Navigated to the land of the unapologetic
Gave in, calling it a day's work

Stressful Life, Her Life
Sleepless nights are what she doesn't like.
Awake with thoughts she has to process
Before coming to terms with the fact
She never will.
Her mind, at times, feels like a ferris wheel
Spinning out of control with no particular
Destination
To have little control over her mind and
So many memories she wishes would
Just go away. She wishes she were
On a beach listening to the waves, watching
The seagulls fly above with peace finally
On her mind.
The water helps her to have peace if only
For a little while.

Expectations make us sad
Most of the time, we humans being trapped in illusions, start expecting a lot from people around us. When expectations do not take shape of reality, we are aggrieved. This is something that we keep on doing on a regular basis. When we see others doing this, we console them until our turn hasn't come. Once our turn comes, we choose exactly the same path and feel the same like others. This is something like a cyclic process. Most of us do not know how to avoid it, therefore we are unhappy and suffering.
