We are living in difficult times, with pandemics sweeping the globe. We are told to get out only for our daily needs. Unfortunately, many people are still unaware of the situation and continue to leave or send loved ones out to bring things that are not mandatory. For example, if one really understands there's a possibility that he/she or the person they send may become a carrier or get infected, one may give up a pack of ice cream. I hope you got the point.
I see blood in hands and withered roses. It's a trauma. I see thorns pinching skin, oozing terror like liquids from veins. I hear perpetual screams of a mother draped in two fabrics. I see shadows in the name of humans, I write scientific names and make journal entries with exact times and dates. I take deep breaths, they don't help. I smell guilt in sweat. I see smoke. I see death. More smoke. More deaths. Funerals. Burials. Cremations. Period. Void. Repeat.
