Every piece of music calls for a story to be told,
It whispers it ever so differently to each soul,
Amiable, the world it creates provides Impartial warmth to the blighted,
To the splendid, its beauty sublime.
Blind calls out to its Impassioned cry,
The gifted dance blindly beneath its gracious sky,
Invisible to the eye yet paints a picture so alluring,
Such even one's wildest Imagination wouldn't dare try.
Its love is so fervent yet so Innocent,
Bewilders the mind of the skeptic and captures the being of gullible,
Engraved in stone but free as the transient Ocean,
Animate such life, enigmatic to the mind,
Something which can only be grasped as an Emotion.

i'd still be awkwardly scared but

i'd brush snowflakes from your hair
after you take pictures outside
after all, the light is perfect and the day as soft as the snow-mellowed laughter of two people enjoying each other's company

Within A Journey
Once I gain that,
My happiness will unfold
Is what I use to say way back,
When belief in myself was low
There were cards I had to play
To establish the right connections in my brain
Questions on a test that life had created
Lessons that stretched where my comfort zone laid
Gained the ability to see gain in what hurt
Continued straight in the gaze of my fear's worst
Remained focused when all in my way burned
Found strength and peace over happiness in my search
I had to be destroyed, so I could began learning
It activated a pat and put me on a path that formed me
Progressed, despite all my defeats and shortcomings
In the process I found joy within the difficulties of my journey

We're All Star Stuff
The immense pain I felt
Hearing the news of your passing
(The intensity surprised me
As I missed the opportunity to get to know you personally)
It was as if everything else instantly went out of focus
A fog of war surrounded me
Yet I feel I knew your struggles
They are shared among us misfits of the 90s
As we carry that burden
We apatrids
It forms a certain bond spanning distance and time
I saw my mother and my father in you
The news made me think of them
And the wound they've been mending for the past 30 years
Your every success after you left
Was a triumph
A victory for my mother and father,
For our family, I used to think
It fuelled my dreams of fulfilment
You helped carry our burden all these years
Unknowingly
I wish I could have told you this
Perchance it could have been a source of some comfort
I know
Nothing heals the ache
Of being betrayed by your own people
Of being left without a place of belonging
It is as if I could see it in your interviews
Lurking behind every intelligent, beautiful answer
Peering out every time you discussed any type of loss
One could recognise the outlines of your grief
Etched into your poise and voice by the scrapers of trauma
Framing your formidable power
An immense water turbine
Generating a current of work
A lasting legacy which lifted you outside the reaches of those smallminded people
A fragility remained
And in this fragility you imparted unequivocally Meaning
And ideas
To all who listened
I wish I could have met you
Squeezed your hand
And said what was my truth:
You and your work
Matter to me
You've made starlight
Comforting
How you gracefully and with immense warmth
And courage
Looked to the stars
Before closing your eyes
Just broke my heart.

I do this for my little ones that look up to me

Chanting out Tru Assassin while I murder

Always been leader, that why Tru stand do his own thing

Telling My Story
Got a lot on my mind.
Finally decided to vent thru my rhymes.
This the only way my mind can be at ease.
besides me smoke some green trees.
5 yrs being homeless.
Sleeping in the car, motels and Family members sofa.
Got me feeling hopeless.
I'm losing my focus.
I'm tired of this brokenness.
Going to these resources program, to see if they can help me.
Only thing they can tell me my family size is case load.
Basically telling me I shouldn't let myself go.
I wouldn't be down this road.
It's easily said then done.Telling My Story

Dark Times
Grew up with out of father.
Really didn't have no mother.
Had couple of brothers that don't really
know each other.
My youth went fast as I had to grow up
quick.
Got tired of watching my mama suffer, she started looking sick.
Getting beat up by her lover.
Sometimes I could barely recognize her.
when she ain't round he started beating on me. Let me and my brothers starve until
mama came home.
Try telling mama but it just got worster.
He cheating on her with different women's.
Brought me and my mama closer.
As I turned 12 yrs old I couldn't take it no longer.
Got the courage to tell him if he hurt me and my mama he won't live again.
So much anger became my friend.
The look in my eye's told him I was for real.
Young boy heart turned into steel.
Mama finally left him never seen him no more.
Are journey not over it still continuing into more.

Feeling Hopeless
Feeling hopeless this feel I have deep inside.
Feeling hopeless would you listen if I told you why.
Feeling hopeless I hold it in trying not to cry.
Feeling hopeless steady at rock bottom.
Feeling hopeless family members always tell me lies.
Feeling hopeless, homeless nowhere to go.
Feeling hopeless gotta black cloud over my head.
Feeling hopeless sometime I wanna die.
Feeling hopeless gotta me antisocial.
Feeling hopeless nobody can't help me.
Feeling hopeless I'm living unhealthy life.
Feeling hopeless got me sleeping in the car.
Feeling hopeless because I can't get out of my situation.
Feeling hopeless gotta me feeling out of place.
Feeling hopeless just wish it went away.
Feeling hopeless I lost my way.
Feeling hopeless steady hiding the scars.
Feeling hopeless there no one to vent too.

my tears flow ajar.
Defining the intensity, the profundity of the wound I have incurred
My tears change colours
