Oh my dear childhood,
Do you miss me as I do?
Why did you just pass away?
Life has been miserable nowadays
I wish we could meet again
And cherish my life with laughter
I was a butterfly fluttering
Without any expectations
I blew dandelions
To make a wish
Counting those tiny stars
Makes me merry
The whirling swings,
Running behind fireflies,
Craving for new crayons
Enjoying the aroma of soil after rain
Those tiny paper boats floating in puddles
Nothing could replace the
Refreshing memories of childhood
I wish there would be a magical tunnel
Through which I could return to my childhood days.

perhaps I'll still remember that perhaps she loved me and both of us kept it a secret.
Oh, I flirted with that fragment again
for the sole purpose of amusing myself?
I formed circumstances, perceptions of
a figment to console myself
What pity!
Hope is but a little snake
it keeps on bitting, spewing venom

Eleven long years and I again chanced upon a Poetic Haven called Mirakee which my heart was yearning for since all this time... it was no ordinary space... there was something so magical here that I was magnetically pulled into this amazing world... something had struck my creative chord and in no time I was back into my poetic element churning poems... there was an unexplained personal touch... those with a huge following were humane... reachable ... responsive... appreciative... It was indeed a poetic paradise ... the official handle of mirakee was actually reading new posts... not once I felt ignored and existing at the periphery...infact I felt as if I was in the centre of the happenings... I experienced inclusion .... By default I almost quit other places because I fell in love with this one
I do hope this love affair lasts forever and the inspiration grows and fills my poetry with every colour of life
May Mirakee achieve its highest aspirations and every poet here know and feel as valued and loved as I have always felt my self

आज बारिश ने फिर याद दिला दिया
की वक़्त के साथ साथ सब बदलता है
जमाना हुआ करता था कश्तियों का भी कभी
विज्ञान ने नालों को जैसे सूना कर दिया अभी
बह तो रहे है, पर किनारों पे बच्चे नहीं
वो नंगे पैरो की छाप नहीं
न ही टपक टपक गिरती बूंदों की धुन में
राग देती उनकी खिलखिलाती हसी
महक तो है बारिश की
