Inhabited my mind, the neurons of watchlist.
One among them was "Taxi Tehran" an Iranian film,
By Jafar Panahi - Written, Produced, Directed, Edited,
Composed by and finally stared this man - Jafar Panahi.
The root cause for the making of this film,
Was the first cause for me to watch this.
Jafar - known for his controversial yet masterpieces,
Was banned from making films for 20 long years in 2010.
Yet, he pretends to be a taxi driver and records the
various discussions and chats of his passengers...
"How much?" - "No need to pay"
A few scenes, raise in us/you a question,
A question to y(our)self - "what's right ? what's wrong ?"
In the end it sums up the entire backstory of his life.
"Was it worth the watch?", if any of you ask this,
All I could say is "a 90 minutes of factual world to gaze at"
You would stare, get frustrated, laugh, smile with satisfaction,
Feel an essence of innocence, grief and rudeness,
Ending up asking this question, "what did I just witness!"
