Communication is the only key that's not true but communicating the time when situations gets worse is a must. And yes, we need to talk. When we meet the world gets better but what to do when there's a great lack of "talk it out and sort now itself" scenario?. Technology was made to make our lives easier but this technology sucks when the entire day and every other day too passes waiting for just one call, one text, one video call, zero replies and enormous amounts of unfulfilled commitments of meeting and spending time together?. Why don't we all get this thing straight in our heads that when meeting every day is not possible then technology remains the ONLY way to communicate and when that too is not possible how much you want a person to be understanding?. Step in others shoes sometimes as well to get answers. When above questions arrives then it becomes the root cause for ruining any relationship. There's a lot of trust but such questions leads to piling up of anger which is really bad. Anger will lead to deterioration on all levels namely physically, mentally and emotionally. But if we talk, make time and most importantly prioritize then nothing can come between that can hurt in any way. Being busy is understandable but not having proper 15 minutes for a person, making that person feel clueless for days and letting your already worse situation get more worse is bad and not at all acceptable as none are busy to not be able to make time for people who matter. To all this, multiple wrong assumptions builds up unnecessarily.
It's easy to ignore but if you don't "talk to sort" then be ready for the future misunderstandings, miscommunication, mishappenings and all the never filling gaps.
