I never understood people being mean. It's so confusing you know? Like, how people can get up and go to church, or, temple, or mosque, and yet turn right around and call someone out of their name. Or walk up and attack someone for their color, religion, or ethnicity. There's got to be more LOVE people. Life's too short for HATE. People being MEAN who claim to be so GOOD, now that's CONFUSING.

Heart's embrace remembering beauty
That which supports all life is my soul's duty
Sun that warms the skin each day
Moon shines bright night after night
Revealing who we are at our core
That is the simplest yet challenging part for us all
Allowing what's there to burst open inside our being
Like a blind man who awakens to now enjoy seeing
Wise people speak more of their blessings than their woes
Conducting the dance as we sway together to and fro
Incorporating each heart into the true meaning of life
For that is love, simple love
To be seen, heard, and held within its grasp

We all hide.
We all put a mask on.
Why?
We should be there for when someone needs a little extra love.
Be there to make sure that if someone needs help, they get the help they deserve.
This world is hard enough.
Why are we making it harder.
We need to be real again.
We need to be united again.
We need to be happy again.

And I would definitely befriend you. We could grab some pizza (or other food if you got any allergies as long as it's junk) and just talk all day long, but sadly my parents would kill me if I just dissapeared one day to look for an online friend.
To make it up to you, lemme tell you something:
Ignore any negativity thrown at you and just do what you like. Be yourself, don't try to be someone else just because someone told you you're not enough. i hear a beautiful language behind me
words that i barely understand
from two years of high school classes.
i can hear excitement in her tone;
her love for her husband transcends
any language barrier that exists.
i do eavesdrop a little, just to try
and piece together my broken knowledge,
and i am jealous that i can only
express my emotions in one tongue.
my father, standing next to me, grimaces.
"this is america."
the perfect couple behind cannot hear him

Teddy bear with the fuzzy hair are you near do you need to shed a tear or is it worse do you have a tear I ask because I care so tell the truth how do you fair? Do you need a ride home or can you afford the fare watch out for dark alleys and them scary B's make sure to look these see them street lights so sleep tight don't have a fright be wary of your sight bring a flashlight if you need to don't feel so blue to yourself be true always win never lose maybe chill with friends sip a brew coffee tea or beer be smart and make your choice sometimes it's not clear so stay near but be aware of those who don't dare to care for a teddy bear like yourself be kind but don't get put on a shelf that same shelf where they put the elf you gotta be strong but it cool to be weak cause at the end of the week in our minds there's a leak that is not so meek
in the boat that sits floatin on an ocean of emotions some get sick from the motion some get angry from explosions but with you there little teddy bear all I have to do is stare to know you have that kind of love so rare unconditional care

Muslim men, woman and children were killed in cold blood by one white supremacist extremist.
The country has been shaken to its core, our peace forever disturbed.
As the days have gone by, we have become one nation, from ALL races, backgrounds and religions we stand by our Muslim community in solidarity.
We in NZ do not accept this, we will not keep this torment in silence, but we do not let hate divide us, we will show that love is the only way to drive the darkness away. Our compassionate leader has been quick to respond, to show kindness and empathy. I think the world could learn a thing or 2 of our little country New Zealand.
My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all the families affected ��

You are so delicate and dainty.
You bring so much joy to many,
But you don't have to try.
Many have judged you for your stigma.
Once they meet you, they change there minds.
You're a beautiful little creature,
that brings so much happiness.
For me, you've been keeping me afloat since losing everything last year.
How can such a little creature bring so much joy.
Sadly, one day you'll be gone like your brother.

"I'm extremely grateful for your votes, I promise to make this country a better place!" the politician exclaimed loudly
Everyone cheered, everyone hooted
None of them cared about the men he'd just looted
They all turned their heads at the girl who screamed rape
Because politicians had power and power meant silence
That's why the hit man stayed quiet, he knew they'd never believe him if he said their leader was a liar
Money made up for humanity, who cared about the dead bodies?
The Dalits marched, went against the deciever
But what were they to do if the deceived fought for their deception? Do they stay quiet and take the hits or speak up and revolt against the country's politics?
Religion and caste ruled the country, what happened to a secular nation? Maybe they ate that instead of the beef
Poverty, no education, health care? What even is that? But still they fought over who could eat the meat instead of worrying about the ones in need
Beggars lining the streets while politicians attach fake gold teeth
There's no lack of food, only a lack of resource management, with a population so huge it shouldn't even be a surprise to anyone
Soldiers raping citizens, what the hell happened to "equality is for everyone"?
What happened to beti bachao? Where are their sanitary napkins? Where is their education? Why are they still being married off with a wrong notion? Why is an eight year old being raped? Why is the MLA not being removed from his place? Why are acid attacks so common? Why is there no justice for the wrong done?
Why is love being restricted? Why can't gay couples marry without being insulted? Trans people are real and they deserve to be respected.
Being a patriot is not something to be proud of these days, because our leaders didn't fight for such atrocities, they fought for love and friendship, brotherhood and non-violence - people seem to have forgotten those concepts.
I have not and I will not, because love is love and hate will be stopped.

The Wrong Kind of *Feminism*
"We demand equal treatment!" Cried out the activist loudly.
Apparently she thought calling herself a feminist just meant fighting for equal rights between men and women, she never thought of the people who weren't either or were both or none or all.
She never thought of the different women in the society. She never thought of the toxic masculinity.
She never thought of her previlege, never thought of her hate.
She wasn't like "most girls" oh no! She was better than them all. It was obvious from the way she was shaming the girls shopping at the mall.
She never believed boys could be raped. She instead believed empowerment meant beating up boys and making fun of their weight.
She called herself a feminist while doing things like this, people started wondering when the moment went amiss.
The sex worker snorted.
The trans woman sighed.
The woman who had just had an abortion rolled her eyes.
The housewife sneered.
The Dalit woman shook her head.
And everyone started hating feminism instead.
