माँ ! एक बस तेरे आँचल का ही तो सहारा है अब।
तेरे छूने से तो पत्थर भी फूल हो जाते हैं! सुना मैंने।
तो मुझे तेरी झिड़कियां, थप्पड़ सब ग़वारा है अब।

MOM
My mom is my whole grain, full of nutrition,
I see the face of Goddess in her reflection.
She is the one who cares for me the most,
With her, I am not even afraid of deadly ghost.
When I feel sad, she talks to me unabated,
Her magical words makes me happy and unscathed.
