There were days when we used to wait for each other to go to assembly, to eat tiffin together during recess, to go to playground holding hands together and gossips that were endless.. even after coming home talking nonsense on call was a must..��
But now after years when we got in touch, you didn't care neither did you ask once how things are going
We have moved on in our respective lives but that beautiful bond which could be kept is no longer left.
I am just another person on your contact list lying just like that whom you don't give a damn☀️
But still after trying several times to be in touch with you, when you pull yourself out and stated me that I am no longer your friend, I agreed. ����
Still sending you memes just in order to make you laugh and remember our bitter sweet moments from school, but your replies have now left me shattered this time with forced one word and emojis.��
I concluded that you have moved on with new friends and new life with zenith succes but still a question is haunting me, Is it ok to abondon your best friend who was with you through your thik and thin??��
As you climbed the ladder of success you forgot me like anything else that don't matter to you..��
So I have decided,
Even after many years of effort, if you say me, you don't care and don't wanna be my friend, it's fine, I will leave..��
You have just left me in a dilemma whether to keep your contact or delete it!!��
I tried insanely to delete but I couldn't and even I tried to keep it I couldn't ��
So what should I do??
If you assess people on behalf of what you are now after climbing those ladders on my back...and now you think that you are superior and beyond all with your ego and getting limelights and putting my moral down by treating me this way.. I am sorry.. I cannot be your friend anymore, goodbye.. ����
My old friend has lost that aura and is no more the same.. you are lost into the world of ego enchanting you..now I barely know you and you barely know me.. ciao ��

I lost my friend to love
And I didn't realise that the smiles
That reached his eyes were fake
Because how could it be,
Eyes dont lie, right?
I lost my friend to love,
And I didn't realise that his eyes
That shone with brightness were
The light of stars
Because he was lost, trying to reach back to us,
But I couldn't find him,
How could I? Jokes are meant to laugh at,
Right?
I lost my friend to love,
And I didn't realise that his pale skin,
Carried the weight of so many scars,
But he wore the armor without any chunk,
You can't crack past the armor,
Right?
I lost my friend to love,
And my last words to him were,
'I will miss you', because I was leaving,
And he told me, I always say that,
And I smiled to my eyes and said,
I will miss you, because I was not lying,
With my eyes shining and smile blinding,
But he was,
He lied and he was in love or pain,
And that's how,
I lost my friend to love.

Ghost
Remember the time I was at my lowest, you threw me out and you left me on purpose.
You watched and laughed as the world turned against me, you shut me out without a thought and said you never meant it.
Failed attempts to reach you cause you developed insolent problems.
You left me out with my bag of problems, I don't know why, but now I don't want to hear it.
It's been too long, I'm probably over it.
If I ever meet you there are tons of things I need to say but I probably won't because it won't matter anyways.
So congratulations! you really played me well, seven years of friendship was just your deluded spell.
Next time you see me, I hope you walk my way, I'll look past you because you're just a ghost in my way.

She, a worm!
She's not a disease, nothing like a virus. She's a worm.
She'll stick to a leaf like it's the loveliest bond of all times. After growing a little on that leaf, she'll eat the leaf up, and then target another leaf, but will not eat the stem of the first. This worm will leave that stem in a pitiful condition, who cannot even die by itself, who cannot survive by itself, who will be left alone, to be killed slowly n softly, by the other insects.
Beware! She's more dangerous than any virus.

വരുമെന്നറിഞ്ഞു തന്നെയാണ്,
നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചത്.
നീ പോയാൽ കരയരുതെന്ന്,
മനസ്സിലുറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
കണ്ണുനീർ പൊഴിക്കരുതെന്ന്,
കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് നിർദ്ദേശവും
നൽകിയിരുന്നു.
എന്നിട്ടും നീ വിടപറഞ്ഞു
പോയതിനു ശേഷമിതു വരെയുമെന്റെ,
കണ്ണുകളിനിയും പെയ്തു തോർന്നിട്ടില്ല.

Obscure Proximity
It’s a bittersweet feeling of how times change,
Ten years ago, we would ramble all around the city
Now we look at each other and feel strange,
Even if we were to cross paths, our conversations might lack brevity.
Like a mute’s attempt at singing,
There are so many thoughts that keep ringing,
I might stutter and hold back the urge to say, “I missed you!”
I stop thinking about those good old days as if they were a taboo
And ego would slowly strangle the friend in me.
It would’ve made things easier if you pretended that you didn’t see
At the least, I wouldn’t have felt stupid for trying to smile
And watch you walk off as I stupendously stand there for a while.
The deluge of memories drowns me as I reminisce every moment.
I want to go back and talk some into that little boy,
Undo many mistakes and make the bonding more potent,
But careful enough not to make it cloy!
I have come to embrace the fact that some things cannot be changed,
Our facade of apathy seems to have left us estranged.
It would’ve been great to have you as my friend,
A doleful turn of events that never let us know as to when it did end.
