Sometimes we feel all broken, curses our past and all our actions, when we locked the all of us in that heart and pretend that we don't have any
And then when we are surviving through all,
Just someday, some person walk in our life
and with their heart they unlock our heart's lock where we almost hide our every feelings our every emotions and each and every part of ourself that is secretly desperate for love
The way they are, the way they hold us, the way they stand right behind you, the way they just stay near you, even that person is at distance, you feel them closest to you, just their moves surreptitiously tells you that they are "one".And then when we are surviving through all,

sitting on the lap of a wilted settee,
wrapping my corse with
a quilt of charred renege,
and some grit.
Life,
as and when it comes,
it heads out with a duffel on its back
heavy enough
to drag down a soul or two
through the pits of the dun;
I once heard someone citing that place
as ‘love’.
I don’t know
what love means, nor
where it stays. But
I have seen my days in you, and
my nights without lapses
bruised with paucity
with all those everlasting scantiness;
It will keep reminding me for
the rest of my life
what drowning in fog tastes like, and

स्मृति के वे चिह्न उभरते हैं कुछ उजले कुछ धुंधले-धुंधले।
जीवन के बीते क्षण भी अब कुछ लगते है बदले-बदले।
जीवन की तो अबाध गति है, है इसमें अर्द्धविराम कहाँ
हारा और थका निरीह जीव ले सके तनिक विश्राम जहाँ
लगता है पूर्ण विराम किन्तु शाश्वत गति है वो आत्मा की
ज्यों लहर उठी और शान्त हुई हम आज चले कुछ चल निकले।
स्मृति के वे चिह्न उभरते हैं ... ...
छिपते भोरहरी तारे का, सन्ध्या में दीप सहारे का
फिर चित्र खींच लाया है मन, सरिता के शान्त किनारे का
थी मनश्क्षितिज डूब रही, आवेगोत्पीड़ित उर नौका
मोहक आँखों का जाल लिये, आये जब तुम पहले-पहले।
स्मृति के वे चिह्न उभरते हैं ... ...
मन की अतृप्त इच्छाओं में, यौवन की अभिलाषाओं में
हम नीड़ बनाते फिरते थे, तारों में और उल्काओं में
फिर आँधी एक चली ऐसी, प्रासाद हृदय का छिन्न हुआ
अब उस अतीत के खंडहर में, फिरते हैं हम पगले-पगले।

void of unsaid goodbyes.

as long as the heart pumps blood,
as long as the pen bleeds ink, and
as long as the ink and the blood
try to glue the heart together.
4. I read it somewhere that they last as long as
stardust stay scattered
in different corners of the Universe:
little grains shining in the darkness
filled with hope and longing for the return
to the grave.
5. I wonder if true love last as long as one remembers to hide the pain and mask the hurt,
it lasts as long as we continue
to breathe unmindfully,
as long as we remain humane and broken.

straddled in
the realm of dreams,

to have wings of desire,
wanted to have a glass
of wine in the idyll,

who sees what future holds
same happened with this lass,
leapt to peaks
fell on the gravel
of grisly broken glasses,
found herself bleeding
by the pricking of laughing shards,
albeit, with a touch of sarcasm,
ruffled skin shed the dust
raised she like a Phoenix,
she now holds the weapon
of grit,
no ordinary waif, now she is,

Rose petals shrank with a dirty Zephyr
that, wafted
along as the girl sweltering under the sun,
The skin turned tan with a burning sensation,
The plight of which, she went through,
is indescribable by the pen,
The time chiselled her story on the parchment
that never showed up to be a matter of worth,
She burned herself on the pyre, and the fire cringe upon as the flesh cleared off her body,
and the conflagration marred by the gush of tears
as the clouds above melted in anger,
The sky rumbled with thunder,
the rumbling roars heard across as
hearse was passing the graveyard,
she bore the flame with even smiles,
merged herself into the realm of ravens
She took the body of the bird
Searched the soul that has a heart for cries.

The dark chapter of her life,
shone as the twist occurred
with an entry of hope
in the form of a kid,
Forlorn was she till then,
her world dunked in the gloom,
the chapter of her life became insipid,
and the matter in it turned dark,
It never remains to be dry and bland,
The kid did something sound,
The wand of love waved by him,
Her lost world regained the heaven,
Marked as a barren lady by the rank and file,
calling names by so called apathetic educated,
Destiny answered all, as the kid
made his presence in the laps of her,
The blank chapter now turned
to be an exciting tour,
as she left for the holy pilgrimage
to thank, the creator
for the bestowal of the invaluable souvenir.

Cringed upon the couch
with humiliation and disgrace,
She recoiled herself
within, an array of images
displayed to show up in
the memory lane,
it was yore, where, days were
bright with full of lustre,
a story was created by
the breeze of youthful vigour,
Held - she the hand on undeserved
lad fell in the trench of blunder,
the misstep took her everything
making her remained muted
everlong, the Zephyr turned out
a burning worthless desire,
accepted the failure, she,
took an oath to see the future
by being a voice of dumb and deaf.
