As I sat down to write
Thoughts escaped my mind
Nothing to write I was amazed
Words were lost and feelings fazed
All the voices in my head were gone
In the mist of feelings my heart was torn
My soul worn out and my hopes crumbled
All over the place my words scattered and stumbled
I know I really have it in me
But my eyes can't really see
All the emotions floating deep inside
My empty words, within me cried
Blank was the paper and the pen kept waiting
To and fro my emotions oscillating
All the thoughts and voices went bleak
As the writer in me refused to speak.

Throughout my life I have been looking
Looking for that one thing
Thing that would make my life complete
Complete me in every sense possible
Possible to find it, I was unaware
Unaware of the fact that it was not actually how I thought
Thought that it was outside
Outside all boundaries, beyond all barriers I tried to look for it everytime
Everytime that I looked for it made me sad
Sad that I was scared I was searching for something unachievable
Unachievable it seemed till the time I didn't look within
Within my heart, I found it etched
Etched in my soul, I felt it finally
Finally I was able to find it, that eternal love
Love which I always tried to seek from the exterior, I found it deep inside
Inside the core of my own self, I felt the love I always needed
Needed to complete my incomplete existence, for which I was searching all my life.
