Mom
Usually my dad goes on a vacation during winter every two years. He would be out of town for three to four days. At home me, my brother and mother spend our days normally. We miss him in his absence and the day goes casual, well that's no big deal for anyone.
But last month I realised something. My mom and my younger brother , supposedly including me had planned to visit my maternal uncle's...this summer. But I had no chance of taking a leave of a few days off from college. So they both decided to go, leaving me and dad at home.
Daytime - Dad was off to his office and me , after school would come home. The first thing I wished in front of my eyes was my mom...but moments later I realised they were in village. Oh what a dumb am I ? ....I feasted on the food kept in the fridge.
Later noon, my dad came home with delicious lunch meal.
Next day came, at school I didn't wanted to take my tiffin so, I gave it to my friends. The thought coming to my mind was of soon arrival of my mother back home.I really wished my mom getting back home and prepare me the most delicious meal ever tasted. I learnt that I can't even spend a day without seeing my mother.
Those are the luckiest people who have their mother.

Fear and Sorrow
I realised what is the feeling you get when fear and sorrow both approach towards you. You have the knowledge that you are about to face it and go through the wave of that feeling....but you are helpless. Helpless to overcome it.
This was the feeling that I was having when my uncle had left the world at a young age. His ten years old son had just returned from school awaiting to meet his only father after three months being apart. But he had no idea what he would be going through. I was home, with my parents.
My uncle, his body was just brought from the hospital. His son...my cousin came to me and said that finally his dad has got his health back and he was eager to meet him. But my mind was blank. I had no words to speak. No emotions to show and acknowledge him about what had happened. But time was to come for the truth to be accepted.
Moments later me with him were called by my mother to see him; my uncle,his father. The only thing going in my mind was how would I face it. Now two months have passed still I weep in his memories.
