THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF KIRIBATI
It started out like a fable,
The cutting of the uniting cable.
No one ever thought of such, the Kiribatis would be able.
They only believed growth in love was the only thing for which they were capable.
.
The saying of the little foxes became so apt.
By holes, the Kiribatis got gap't
And before long, their loving home was lap't,
Lapt with an attention so rapt.
Run over by lust
Or at least that was the diagnosis given about the head's crust,
The winds from the west brought a load of dust
Like the heavens had sneezed with a great gust.
The love could be seen no more than very little
So much so that 'to your tent o Israel' was adopted as the title.

कितने अर्सो तक होंगे ना जाने मौसम यह पतझड़ के
ना जाने कब फिर आयेंग वो पल नई सुबह और अज़ल के
गूंजेंगे जब फिर मन में सुर सप्तक उसी ग़ज़ल के
खिलना है फिर से मुझको गलतियों से सबक ले

I usually thought it was a myth that Eve was created from Adams rib;
When meeting you reduced my ribs then i know its a tale with no iota of fib;
I tried writing all about you in my diary but alas the ink won't stick;
Until i figured out you are my diary that registers all i want in a flick;
A cute diary possessing top notch sheets and beautiful cover;
Am so idyllic meeting the perfect EQ that never cease to make me hover;
When i go about showing off people think its too extreme of me;
But I know what am feeling, so ecstatic to see the only medicine that can heal me.

Even if you slip your grip in any step
Don't be hesitate to walk again.

Getting hold of his emotions became too difficult for him
A slam poem changed to a love poetry
And so, changed his rhythm.
The love that was buried deep inside his heart,
Ever since he saw her in his class,
Began to unfold with every single verse of his poem
His eyes, being glued to her,
And her being the CYNOSURE of his narrative tale,
He immigrated the crowd inside the universe of his words,
While taking away their boredom.
And so, that first show of his life became his stepping stone
Shows after shows; he received a recognition of his own
Though he kept it simple, just juggling with the words through
And finally, he had love in his life
You know, who!

I watch the light bleed between the leaves,
A gradual heat warms my pearly skin.
The swing beneath me rocks my body,
My safety boat in my sea of storms.
Golden rays swim the sky.
But I wait until the moon shows
Before I close my eyes.
Hidden diamonds
