Be like the lotus that emerges
Out of the muddy mire
Whose petals open wide
To the world around her;
Her friendly face speaks of survival,
Of mystery, of life or rebirth;
Be like the lotus that grows gracefully
Despite of the swampy place she's in.

Keeping the world at arm's length and protecting her fragile heart. She found ways to survive the hell she had lived through. Her beauty was in how gracefully she walked through fire.

It seems like there's always someone,
who disapproves everything we do
They'll be judging,
Like they know about me and you
And I could tell,
they ain't got nothing else good to do
But all I can say is,
Don't you worry about these people,
Who know nothing better than themselves
Who know nothing better about life
Cause,
We know ourselves better than anyone
They can't do anything to us,
When we push their thoughts from our mind
And once again,
We'll continue to stand gracefully
With our heads tilted up to the sky,
Knowing that we'll never forget to

Yellow Flowers (In the Meadow)
Gaze upon the yellow flower,
Wilting in the shade.
Even though the sunshine found it,
It hasn't rained in days.
The yellow petals,
like the soil, now were dry.
The Sun, now deadly to
This flower, from the sky
So the wilting petals,
Gracefully fell to the ground.
That is when the wind whispered,
Now yellow petals can't be found
