I saw this challenge on the flaws of a person (or which they thought of as a flaw) and remembered this post I had made long ago on Instagram. I have struggled a lot with insecurity and self esteem and posting this on social media was very very hard. But in the end I did it and the lightness I felt after getting that out was worth it. What was even more shocking was the number of people who said 'so relatable'. This just made me sad at how humans place so much importance on looks and their 'beauty standards' which we apparently have to adhere to. I call bs at this. If you want me to look a certain way then go to a store and buy a doll or something. I am a human being and I can look the way I want. If you have a problem with how I look then please do me a favour and don't look at me.
