  Watch your back,
  Watch your hands,
  Your wrists and joints.
  Watch them grow old
  And cold.
  Watch them stiffen, in their place.
  
  Knees forget how to bend.
  Hands shake.
  Shoulders keep you awake.

  Once upon a time there was a girl who was broken inside. Not living. Just breathing. Just biding time.
  
  Then she met him. He gave her life. He gave her a new way to feel inside. The mirror became her friend. Her pain subsided. She saw herself in a new light. She liked the new her. She felt strong again. She found her power.

  I sit back and view my life as scenes of a movie where I can't remember the title. There is no editing. Every emotion, every feeling and every
  word spoken comes from a place which can't be replayed or revised. The direction at times can be confusing but the moral of the story can never be rewritten.   Words are eternal. They have a power all their own. A cruel and demeaning word/sentence will enter our mind as a virus which eats away at our ability to process self love. The damage is horrific. It changes how we define ourselves. It changes how we see and feel love. It will confuse the mind and paints a picture of distrust. It is painful. It causes us to bleed internally and externally. The scars are deep rooted. The pain can be excruciating.

  There are times when my head is filled with a hazy sky. So much to separate from the necessary to the damage feelings. I want to write it all down but it seems there is an invisible lock which doesn't always allow me to enter the eye of the hurricane which resembles my brain.
