    Spring and drinks

I pick up my writing pad
    But couldn't write sh*t down
Caption says " spring or drinks " but I'm blank still
    Basically, I'll miss spring
The embodiment of good things like the day I was born lies within it
I think of rain and blooming veggies
    And I see spring
I see the clear blue sky and shinning ray of sun
Dipped into a nice green earth
    And I think of drinks
Not the kind that leaves you wasted
Just a little chill and drill with the hommies
Not in a bar, just under the springlike sky.

    Drinks

People don't drink when they're sad.
They drink when they can't face the sadness.

It cost me a thousand pack of cigerettes
and more than a hundred bottles of beer
to realise that I can never forget you
    no matter what...

    Life

It's like a glass of whisky. It's not great to drink yet it makes you forget your problems and gives you hope

    Alone In My Coffee Shop

Carried by Winds of Grace while drizzled in Rain of Prosperity.
    At least,
It's how you should feel even if you're still strutting through Earth's soil,
    Wet from our blood,
    Sweat and tears...

Have to assume there's a reason Stars swirl all around and dance within the Space we create when closing our eyes.
A reason for every bit of Light streaming faith and hope back into our vision.
    May we ever know?
A question that will forever flow the deepest depths of the Unknown.
    But,
Not a reason there is to deny its warmth through Unconditional Love...

    So,
I soak in every second of Peace swarming my mind,
    Heart and soul.
Grabbing onto every Star flying across my darkest skies when,
    Closing my eyes.
Looking past any faux pas as I paint an image of Happiness and Solace.
Where there only exists a Grin as a reaction against another's treacherous Hatred...

No other choice do I have as a loner from the first millisecond I wake,
    To the last.
Where I fall into mental hibernations as my shield when Demons flick acid tears from a past,
I fought hard to leave behind every crash I've suffered from a drive,
    Swerved to the side,
    By,
Alcohol I wasn't able to sideline fast enough,
    Myself,
    For quite some time...
Finding my way back to my road of redemption,
When I allowed my war-torn esophagus to feel a breath of fresh air.
Rather than a Tall Cup of Despair before Sunrise...

    Barista

Margarita, Tequila, a touch of vodka
There is strength in every drop
    And every shake
And every gaze in your eyes when you looked up to me as I stare mesmerized and in awe

You are a masterpiece, a rich whiskey, an aromatic keg of wine
A perfect blend of sweet and citrus
    Of sour and bitter
    Of spice and licorice
    Of berry and mint

    You're the only concoction
I will ever dare a connection

    Drinking because
    You are a rich
    And drinking because
    Of some bitch
    Is totally two different
    Moods.
    But finally you will
    Be in ditch.

    Patrons gathered
    A pint or wine
    Spirit or two
    Conversations and laughter
    Longtime acquaintances
    Meeting new people
    Last orders
    Contagion walks in
    Main room a desert
    Dust blanket covers all
    Bar is closed.

Not to be cliché, but i really want to take a guy to a museum and tell him that he's more beautiful than every other art displayed in every corner of the room and when he beams, I'll tell him how he puts millions and millions of  blazing stars to shame light years away from where we are. I'd want to take him to a beach at night and tell him his voice calms me like classical music being performed in some concert hall in the outskirts of Europe. I just want to maybe, drink some hot chocolate while scribbling proses in my stained pages reminiscing the kind of love we stumbled upon while searching for our favourite books in that old library located downtown, the kind of love people write about in books and re-lived in flashes in hospital beds.I want him to realize that my writings are yet to reach people's hearts; that they are yet to reach him.

Oh boy! you don't need drinks and drugs to get intoxicated
You only need some good company

"write drunk, edit sober", okay Mr. Hemmingway; I guess you can pour me another drink. But it's almost 10 in the morning and I have to go to work. So we'll have to take a rain check.

I get it that it doesn't always have to be a glass of wine or a bottle of rum. Although rum and eggnog this time of year is always a good idea. But no, just let the words flow, don't worry about corrections. Just like life, you can't always edit things out, fix things up. And that's okay.

Life is crazy, and messy. Spilled drinks everywhere at times. And not always enough time to clean it up the way you want. Oh well, you move on and just try to roll it off your shoulder I guess.

So I put down the glass and nod at you, wise words spoken, lessons learned. Sometimes you just have to do things with impulse; as if you're drunk, because the truth always comes out. You can always fix things later when you sober up, and even if you can't, that's okay too. We all make mistakes. We all get sloppy.

So pour me another round, Hemmingway. But better fill it to the top; I don't know when my next drink will be. But I know I'll do my best to clean it up after.

    Cheers.

    Misunderstanding or Joke (Part 2)

After several minutes, we arrived at the bar.
The area is very crowded as it's filled with restaurants, bars, and lounges.
We searched the area, but we couldn't seem to find our coworkers.
Until we found another coworker who just arrived the area.
We decided to have some snacks before continuing our search.
While we were enjoying our snack,
We saw another coworker who's walking towards a bar.
We quickly paid our bill and went to the bar she entered.

    As we enter the bar,
We saw our coworkers there and they have their drinks.
We noticed that we were separated because we are from different cultures.
One side from Western countries and one from Asian countries
We walked towards the asian side and as we walked passed the western side,
I saw him, the guy from the bike, chatting with his coworkers.
As he was about to take a sip of his apple cider,
He saw me taking a glimpse of him as I walked pass him and we smiled at each other.
We took our seats and the waiter gave me and my friend the menu
We scanned the menu and our coworkers said that our leader will be paying for our drinks.
So I ordered tequila while my friend ordered mojito.

Our leader walked drunkardly towards my friend and gave her a hug as he knew that she gave him a farewell gift card.
He then walked towards me and had a small chat.
While we chat, he was standing wobbly like he's gonna fall
All of sudden, he asked why do I hate him so much
I wanted to say so badly that it was because I know his true nature under the goofy and innocent mask that he has.
    I was then thinking,
Should I tell him that in this drunkard state or I should just leave it alone so that he would leave the country with no hard feelings?
I could have told him the truth,
But I chose not to tell him and just gave him a small smile.
I'm not really sure if it's a wise or stupid thing to do.

    As the night passed,
My coworkers and I enjoyed chatting while drinking.
As I was taking another sip of wine,
the second drink that I ordered,
There was a tap in the shoulder,
I turned around to see the guy from the bike,
Smiling at me and asked whether having a good time.
I was pretty surprised as everyone from the other side were getting too drunk to care.
I could tell from his face that he's also drunk and I admit that I was touched that he came over to have a small chat with me.
    I smiled and said yes.
    He asked what's my name,
    I said my name,
He couldn't hear as the place was too noisy for him to hear.
I said it as loudly as I could.
He nods and he gave me his name.
I couldn't hear it very clearly,
But I knew what he said.
He went back to his group and the night passed

It was about time for us to go home.
My friend and I were about to leave,
Until our coworker stopped us and said that we had to pay for our drinks.
We were confused as the leader already mentioned that he would pay.
    Quite frankly,
I wasn't suprised as I saw it coming
While my friend couldn't help but feel extremely pissed about it.
We paid our bills and leave quickly.
    Despite that incident,
I enjoyed the night as I felt happy that I got to have a small chat with him.
    That changed everything.

    Drunk night

    Another night
    New and old friends
    Wander around neon sunlight
    Ducking into establishments
    Bartenders' greetings echo
    Rounds shared
    Spirits raised
    A beer to chase
    Temptation in a smile
    Numbers exchanged with promises
    Onwards to the next.

Labored ... frantic steps traipse across the tiled floor
An aftertaste strikingly similar to chili, floods the orifice that is my mouth

An acrid burp burbles to the surface
It hangs there, in all it’s tawny, hodgepodge glory

My body rejects its presence like a newborn trying solids for the first time
