So , most of the ppl know abt sex-selective abortion.
It is the practice of terminating a pregnancy based upon the predicted sex of the infant.
It's mainly done in girl child case which means male children are more valued as compared to female children.
According to me , abortion is a murder.
No one has right to kill anyone before his /her birth.

As mentioned above in the poetry , a girl child is telling her feelings to her mother nd blaming her also that her mother is killing her. So .. absolutely no, in most of the cases , the mothers are forced by their family to abort the girl child.
There is no intension to blame only a mother for the abortion.

Thnkyou @_aradhana di for suggesting me this topic❤️✨

@writersnetwork Thank you for the kind repost. It means a lot to me because this is a topic that is very close to my heart

It's harsh and hard being me
The odd crayon in the box
Worn, and broken in to three
My other two parts are lost

The red, blue and arrogant green
Heads kissed by paper each morn
Look how they beam, shine and preen
While for the paper I am lovelorn

The kids at playschool hate me
    They call me "bogey brown"
Only one girl will hold me
Her little face, a constant frown

Dimpled cheeks and wild black curls
    An angel of burnished wood
She was never like other girls
So they hurt her, because they could

But, for a colour box to be filled
It takes a thousand different hues
So why are some shades killed
While the others watch from pews?

All blood is dark, wet crimson
And all wax shall someday melt
So why hold love at ransom
Why won't you let it be felt?

    नहीं कुछ हैं की लाख बचाए जारे है और उड़ाए जारे हैं

    कुछ हैं की चिल्ला रहे हैं, खारे हैं

    It's been 37 years of Marriage ,
Still they dont like each other.

    It's been 36 years of parenthood ,
Still they don't equally love their children's.

    Years are getting older
    Not the people.

I wonder where is love here ?

All i can see is EGO.

These three letters are heavier than a cloud.

    You aren't ready to listen.
You force people to listen you.

A very thin line between asking and getting...

If you don't respect your people
There's nothing you learned in life.

Maybe less educated woman don't match your status.
Maybe your daughter don't listen to you.

But you can't divorce a man just because he's dominating?

    Or can you ?

You can, but society will not accept this reason.

But it's fine, perfectly fine living with a person who doesn't value you, you also don't like him.
    But it's okay.

    Atleast you are married

And it's not important "THAT YOU'RE NOT HAPPILY MARRIED"

    Enough Is Enough

Racism or discrimination is not just a word
it's poison to our society or curse which is generation to generation delivered,
humans are human there is nothing that should come first,
Cast, religion, colour, body shaming rich, poor countries or place belong to and gender,
all are discrimination taking down humanity, life being equally distributed or delivered
first, we have to respect life, Living life is a fundamental right to everyone so stop racism,
    enough is enough,
Racism is a disease of the brain. the brain is a great place. people have died of it. the brain is an island on a beach. it’s so much worse than you might think. if you’re alive, you’ll die of it. If you were in town and you saw a man standing at the gate looking for a man in a plaid shirt, it’s not what you were accustomed to, it looked like someone who you segregated

Why is it difficult for married women to have male best frnds?
Why her fidelity is so fragile that one call after 8 pm
    One message with heart emoticon
    One outing with him
    One drink with him
    And suddenly
"You should concentrate on your husband?"

shame on people who think a woman can't keep it in her panty...

I wrote this quite some time ago. I truly believe that something must change! There are so many wonderful people and initiatives out there fighting for equality and acceptance. Yet at the same time, somehow we seem more divided and racism is more common than it has ever been in my lifetime.
There is still so much more we can and should do!

    Fear of difference

We are born with love and acceptance in our hearts.
Where did we go wrong? Where did the problems start?
'Fear of difference' can be present from an early age.
It's important to fit in, even at that early stage.
There's pressure to wear the biggest names.
You're expected to play the popular games.
You should never be a teacher's pet.
Try to follow the leaders from the outset.
Bullying exists, it's an awful fact of life.
The targeting of those seen as different is rife.
Our formative years can shape who we become.
Those early experiences can stick like gum.
From very young, the media fills our heads with lies.
Subliminally we are conditioned to fear that which the unknown epitomise.
Over many years, many amazing people have worked to unite us all.
Teaching us to love and respect and break down the wall.
Why has hatred and violence become mainstream?
There was a time when we had a dream!
When Rosa Park took a stand by remaining in her seat.
So what went wrong? There's murder on the streets.
How, in this day and age, have we fell so low?
Racism, prejudice and bigotry promoted by those we follow.
How can we justify the actions causing violence and death?
Even our leaders are spouting intolerance with every breath.
    Encouraging more fighting and segregation.
Preaching tyranny and outdated ideals to every nation.
Are we really going to ignore all the progress we had made?
Let the work and wisdom of all the heroes just fade?
The time has come for action! Protests are a human right!
Our voices need to be heard, united, proud, and full of might.
Let's work as one, we must aim for love and peace.
We will do better! The hatred and violence must cease!

    Why ?
Why we are still discrimination on the the basis of our gender?
    Why can't we be equal?
Why is always black and white?
    Why it can't be neutral?
Is my name not enough for my identity,
Why should I be asked to reveal my caste?
Is it not worth that I am a human,
why should then I tell my religion?
    Oh what an irony!
they tell me to donate blood,
    but does my blood ask
to whom I am going to?
Then who are we to decide all this??
    Just be thankful
and enjoy the life we have
    Instead of being discriminated...

As far I have researched I found out that in every 15 minutes a girl/woman gets raped. Minimum 90 in a single day as per 2018 statistical reports. But the question is it's not like only female are the sufferers there are many cases in which men are raped too. But why there is no concrete statistical data till now??? Section 375 of IPC defines rape as a criminal offence associated with women only. Where are the rights for male ???
Guess what in our country *most of the parts* it is still believed oh come on you are a strong guy and strong men doesn't cry. Why are you applying make up ?? It's for girls. Dude, applying make up doesn't have any specific gender. And now coming to RAPE OF MEN then even if he tries to raise his voice people laugh at him by saying "abey NAAMARD hai tu". If he goes to complain to Police even there most of the times he is discouraged. Like seriously !!!! Why do people have this mindset yet that men are the strongest and no one can harm them ??? And if someone even beats them abey "DHABBA" hai tu.Ladkiyon jaise pit ke aa gaya.
And because of this mindset of the society men do suffer and the worst part is they cannot even share the pain with anyone from which they are suffering.
That's sad but this is what the actual reality is...

    Pieces of chess
Make their moves across the board
    The fallen on the sidelines
    Wait to be restored.
But the binary of dark and light
    Leaves too much undefined
    Invisible spaces of endless grey
Hold more than what is right.
    This game is about power
    As it has always been
    Sacrifice of pieces worth
    Less than what they bring.
    Pawns get ripped to pieces
To protect their queen and king
    Thrown away as pressure increases
Of their names noone will sing.
    Leaders send their soldiers
To make moves across the board.
Leave continents bare and others enriched
On the backs of lives ignored.

We got freedom from the Britishers but we are again conquered by the religions and caste .
We proudly say that India is a democratic country but still we fight on the name of religion , we fight as Hindu or Muslim .
There is no religion or caste in India except one religion and that religion is Indian (Hindustani).
Until and unless we don't stop fighting on the name of religion we are not fully independent.

If you are really a true Indian then from today follow only one religion that is Hindustani (Indian).
