Dancing in Despair
He sat in front of me
My book in his hand
I knew I had failed
This failure, I couldn't stand.
I stood up calmly
And went to the empty room next door.
I opened it, and felt the dust flowing
My feet, cold against the marble floor
I breathed out
I breathed in
Feeling the pulse rising
Right under my skin
I leaned in
I leaned out
My hands rose up and down
My legs hopping continuously
I danced in Despair
And left my body loosely.
Tears started trickling down my cheeks
As i threw my body in the air
Everyone's eyes were stuck upon me
I told myself, "Let them stare"
My legs gave up and i fell down
Lying there, tears after tears flowing down
I let the tears dry and stood up again
Feeling the melancholy, feeling the pain.
