If the apocalypse came tomorrow, would I be prepared? Have I lived my life as a man of integrity? Honesty? Righteousness? Would I make it to the heaven that I do not believe in? These are the things that I ponder as I stare out the window upon our pre-apocalyptic world... I'd like to think, yes. But having this lack of faith leaves me with feelings of restlessness and unease. Should I find God before it's too late? Or am I too late? Looking for a sign, resignedly I sigh. Am I to be reduced to dust when I die? When the end is nigh? Or is it all just one big lie that I hold in my mind's eye? With nothing too decide, I bid life good-bye.
