    Black lives matter

    Black lives matter...
I'll say it once I'll say again..
These racist fakes use it for a trend..
When will you put it to and end..
You don't know what one goes through..
Living a lie is all you can do..
I can't be racist I know lots a black folks....
That's what you say but to us it's a hoax...
Think bout if the tables were turned....
If it was your rights and ancestors that burned...
Would you not be mad, would you not be pissed...
With all the rights and privileges that we missed..
Today is tomorrow and tomorrow is today....
It was only black men and women held in display....
Don't try to justify what has already been done....
    Beating,raping,killing was just for fun...
So we are mad,we are pissed, wish you would take one look....
Everything you believe in doesn't always come in a book..
How can you be a Christian,Baptist believe in god..
But in the same breath beat a innocent man with a night stick and rod...
If you truly want to understand the anger and pain...
Stop and listen to the struggles and killings done in vein

    Everything is visible

White they aim to shoot black they aim to kill

It's been over 1 ninety years and they still don't know the deal.

Just stay still they ask we comply but somehow we all die

     So tell me Why?

Only see black and white no colors beyond.

No one seems to care unless your eyes are blue and your hair is blond

How long will it take till we all correspond?

     I despond.

I'm losing all hope of what could be this is reality.

What if my brothers next? just another fatality.

This is all too much for me.

Wasn't this supposed to be the land of the free?

America was a land built on slavery.

    Despite the statue of liberty

I'm not fond of God but pray with me.

All lives matter, that's what we need to see.

And when they looked upon it
    they couldn't understand it
He, she, they? They couldn't quite define it
    Nothing they'd ever seen before
They didn't know what to call it
Its skin was dark with eyes an abnormally deep hue
Never had they seen hair so curly
They really didn't have a clue

As the years past, it grew like art
As they gazed upon it, shocked it was a woman
    But that couldn't be possible
she looked like nothing anybody knew
Frightened and alarmed they tried to control it
Told her what to wear and the features she could keep
She had to flatten her hair, they had just the right chemical for it
It had to be perfect or she dare not sleep
But yet still she didn't quite fit
Her golden brown eyes they could not change
So they made sure to remind her of how strange
The curves of her hips they secretly envied
But still laughed and said she was quite heavy
And thus the change began, slow and steady

And there she stood with the passage of time
Her skin now bleached, they say it looks divine
The contours of her body have now been hidden
She could never forget that it was forbidden
Once upon a time a rare beauty was born
They could not understand it so they made her conform

The energy a bullet exudes, to some, might sound rude but I think it's just the ticket for your fucking attitude. Maybe those mass shooters knew what they were doin'? Probably not, since it's almost exclusively white guys, and definitely never a woman.
The only thing I believe to truly exist is energy.
It's everything but we can't see it. It's what makes up you, and me. It's the Tangible bullshit that angers us to our feet.
If you don't science, then don't tell me how you don't support this because you, Sir, obviously don't know shEit.
Everyday we put all our efforts, all our energy into ruining eachother, and this fucking garbage rock we've divided with phantom gods, and invisible lines.
Right after your right-slanted, brainwashed wife flushes a used tampon at a public shitter, you bitch at the girl wanting to have that lump of cells scraped out of her uterus, so she can keep making her life better. You sweat her while she walks past you, just because you enjoy being a douche but as soon as she's out of eyeshot, you've already forgotten she exists, and onto the next woman, you make your move.
Why don't we see men rallying to stop shower masturbation? Every time you blow an aimless load, all those could-be babies find their way to a local trash holder...
Fucking murderers. Killing all those would-be, future generations of proud white men is not very christian. FUCK YOUR RELIGION. Christianity, Catholicism; your priests rape your sons, and you put the check in the back instead of those monsters, in fucking prisons.
You know why white men don't get parades? Because you want to celebrate your shade of skin, not the culture you were created in. You're not rallying for the ENTIRETY of the United States, you're screaming about white penis equality, and scrambling to purchase the newest Camaro because you can't deal with your lack of length.
    Still not understanding me?
    Let me keep explaining-
You're not shouting about your scottish or Irish bloodlines, you're crying about not getting your own parades... Your own parades... yOuR oWn PaRaDeSsSsss.
Not about your Asian or African lineage. Not about women's suffrage. Not about the rights of your libtard neighbor's gay kid; well, maybe about your egregious over-concern about the bathrooms they piss in... Your only argument is about the COLOR OF YOUR FUCKING SKIN... Don't you remember what blue-eyed jesus said, about Vanity, pride, and envy being DEADLY SINS?!

And, the mic drops because I fucking win.

    We are powerful

In the morning we rise as strong as we will ever be
Surviving and thriving for our people
While the stars light up the sky of our home land
We move through the deception perceived as our history and home
We may have failed to overcome the freedom of equality
Our truth marked down and taught in history
The line drawn between right and wrong
Making us slaves of our own mind
Diminishing all freedom of bettering ourselves
Thinking we are nothing more than just the help
Even with freedom in our history of royalty
Torn from our home land of riches and wealth
    We are strongest together
We can make this our new home
    A place where we belong
on the other side of the these shackles of injustice
We can power through all with peace
    And live on forever more

    These itty bitty tyrants
    So damn violent
Hands on their gun, on their gas
    They force silence

    Illegally bound, unconstitutionally obligated
Filming such reality, abusive pepper, gets you hated
Delusions of grandeur, they fear the valour
Of people like you who fight back against their power

    Grand Assumption

I woke up from my nap feeling powerful, you know cause we so use to feeling powerless, that's part of their cowardice, say we living on borrowed time but that's linear thinking plus who hold the hourglass?
I thought you knew what our powers were.
When you see the beauty of Nia Long or words from Nina Simone , even the device from where you reading this poem was invented by someone who realized his , super power.
Do I really have to give examples of what we created? Back when our ancestors were degraded, after hard times were paraded ,you can feel in the texture of our hair when you braid it, during the "Civil" Rights or before the Ark and the Slave ship, the slavers dont get how we've made it , but you cant see your "super power?"
I guess the singing and dancing ain't enough,
The topic nor the logic barely discussed
We make gold out of rust, metaphorically, historically we've been treated horribly
Painting this picture cause there's more to see but you dont see your, super power
You took this term too literal cause we're focused on the death of a general or maybe these liberals to me their all cynical,
Winter time we had seasonal rituals,
But let me chill, that was primitive right ?
What we seem to think is right, is wrong
    Their lying habitual,
I think you feel what I trying to give to you.
What my mom and my aunt went through, reflect our society in its entirety, its cyclical
But they too realized that they had it too
    super powers.

    Trying times

    Tyrant
    You bring nothing but violence
    Unto the oppressed and silenced

    We the People
Say fuck you and your white supremecist steeple
Your wicked deeds wreak like fecal

You sit play golf and get fatter
While I stand to protest and say Black Lives Matter
At the end of the day your lies will wither, shatter

    Think yourself king of guile
You unleashed plagues both mental and viral
    Racist bile
    Pandemic denial

Scream, cry, say you were treated unfair
From the person who had everything given, how dare
Insurrection without a moment to spare
You put us all in a disgusting nightmare
But some have always suffered because of the skin they bare

    Tyrant you had your fun
    We the People Won

    The mirror

    Gazing at my own reflection
    Cast away any perfection
    Parsing out what's truly there
Can't be seen only felt with care
For we are each other's mirror
What we don't like about another
Lies inside the soul of our brother
If we want to change this world
Becoming each other's keeper is what's inferred
    How we treat another soul
Directly affects us and bears a toll
Why can't we see ourselves in each other
Mysterious it seems yet the answer is so clear
Ego, prideful jealousy set in by doctrine, lies and is the true sin
God wants us all to love from our hearts
To see no separation or anything that keeps us apart
Sit with this thought and tell me true
Do you love me as I inherently love you?

    Mill

The Heat in the southern West make me sweat in my overalls

It feels like I ate something spicy just by the sound of me panting

The wheat is ready for picking to turn into bread but I don't have the energy

I start to sing some blues hoping I can soon catch a break

The sound of a horse hooves coming near me i panic looking at my basket making sure it's filled

Master chewing on Straw orders me to head back and start working with the cooks

I obey without further looks at him as I pick up my stash and run to the kitchen staff

It feels cooler in here because of the shade and stone floors there's no one stopping me from taking a breather

I deliver the Wheat ready to head back outside to finish my chores

Tough luck buddy since Mistress is calling for me to go into Town and pick up some groceries

I obey once more since I don't want to be punished a third time for my disobedience yesterday

I'm so hot and bothered I feel like running away to a place filled with water and shade

Maybe jumping off the ship wasn't a bad idea I should've done it when I had the time

Oh well let's get on with being polite

    Happy Birthday Dorothy Day

    outside I sit alone
    my simple sitting porch
    a hardwood nightsky
    as ruling mars watches
    I lit two scented candles
    but having three wicks
    father and son shared
    and the holy spirit accompanying
i light a Nag Champa incense stick too
in homage of the Theologies of India
as interfaith or a pagan indigenous offering
Prayer needs to go out in kairos to the cosmos
    any port in a storm
    in these always troubled times
today marks one hundred and twenty three years
    our Servant of God
    i pray to your soul
help us bear witness in your charism
to live out our faith as nonviolent action
    help to end nuclear weapons
    brutal police killings
    systemic racism
give Grace to our suffering poor
    nourish our strength of conviction
long arching the moral universe towards justice
    in solidarity

    Freedom

The chains on my wrist scraped against my pale skin leaving bruises

The man selling me wasn't kind with his gun and whip ready to hurt me

I prayed to God that soon I will be free to go and find a job

But he had other plans for me and I accepted them with a cost

My freedom was the deal I must work to get it back and I'm no quitter

So I accepted the challenge and it changed me into a man that my father and mother would be proud of

I didn't complain when my hands bled from the cotton picking

I didn't cry when the lashes on my back were being wiped down

I didn't try to run for freedom because a hard man labor will always get paid

One of these days I will be with My mother and father

    Eating,Laughing and Drinking my fill

I wake up to see God has come to free me at last and man I'm so glad

    Patience is a virtue

    Knee on my neck

I am a part of war started before time,
For the way I was born is a crime,
Felt like an outsider amongst my own crew,
But this feeling is nothing new,
Since the time I can understand, I felt the stare,
Not of empathy, sympathy or care,
A stare that reminded me of who I was,
A stare that expects all the worst flaws,
    My stereotypes preceeded my foot,
No matter what they say, they notice, they look,
I have forgotten the no of times I have been stopped,
Or been accused of things, I hadn't robbed,
Yet you come and say, you feel our pain, you feel our cause,
While we struggle, you are protected by your laws,
For face down, with knee on my neck,
Not the first time I have been oppressed.

    Oh, Baltimore

There are riots in the streets of Baltimore
    Ignorance is spreading like wildfire
False news breeds even more hate
    The ones on top
    Far off, in their mansion
    Who will Never experience
    The poverty
    Never feel the pain,
Spread the lies for all they will gain
    Keep us distracted
    Keep us divivded
But theres people starving in Baltimore
Of all races stuck in a hole with no way out . No money for rent nor for food
You claim it's our own fault
As if we're all lazy fools...
    But keep in mind
We have No rich parents to pay for our schools
We can not help into what family we are born
    Schools with no walls,
    Parks have no trees,
Only Empathy can kill this hate
But with your lack of compassion, i fear its too late
A ten year old was killed by police for skateboarding ..but it wasnt on the news
that wasnt your child so you have nothing to lose
There are people in the streets of Baltimore
    knowing no-one cares
    Hopeless
    with tears in their eyes
Rioting the streets and you still wonder why
