From the time I was in 5th grade until the time I reached 10th grade, I was a cheerleader for both Football and Basketball. Believe it or not, it was the only damn sport I was capable of doing (I'm a natural klutz) and it was literally the only sport I ever participated in except Track & Field in middle school. Being a cheerleader was good for me because it got me out of my shell and helped me to be less shy. It was always so much fun getting to travel on the school bus to games, see cute guys from other schools, and just CHEER. It was such an adrenaline rush the whole time. And just knowing that you're one of the cute little cheerleaders everyone is looking at and watching. It was an embarrassing moment to mess up or forget one of the cheers while on the sidelines. But you just kind of hoped you remembered and carried on like nothing even happened. Some games, especially during Football season, got really chilly towards the end, like when the sun would go down. So most of us cheerleaders made sure to wear our turtlenecks underneath our tops. I fucking loved it. Everything about it. The games, the practices, the pep rally, homecoming and court warming. I even loved getting to go to cheer camp for what seemed like the whole summer, but was only just a week. Although by the end, I could barely walk up and down the stairs to get to my room, because my legs hurt so bad. I even got the opportunity (before I quit) to be apart of the competition cheer squad. You didn't have to be, but we all did anyway. And you know what? We won 1st place in our division and brought home the spirit stick and a megaphone. I can honestly say that being a cheerleader helped me accomplish a lot of stuff - and mostly within. Now that I look back on passed days, months, and years I regret that I quit cheering. All because I became a little pothead, instead. Which I don't regret becoming per say, but I do regret not cheering until my senior year. If only I could go back in time for just one day and do it all over again . . . . I would.

    Basketball...

    A bouncing ball sport,
    With rectangular court,
    Five players in five positions,
    Ready to face any conditions...
Pass the ball if one intercept,
    With his defensive concepts,
Lay up , jump shots or dunk,
No matter if you sweat in trunk...
Don't let your eyes loose the ball,
Be careful of the one who is tall,
Two on two or One on one,
Let's see who is son of a gun...
    So come one come all,
    Let us play basketball.

    Kobe Bryant

This is another picture of Kobe Bryant I drew from the one that I posted yesterday. I know this portrait still does not look like Kobe, but I am still trying. Kobe still had his whole life ahead of him. He will always be missed by his fans and followers. My love for Kobe Bryant. RIP bro.

    Kobe Bryant

I know this picture does not really look like  Bryant, but I tried. I am really good at drawing cartoon characters, but I am not so good at drawing real life characters. I know it takes practice. He was always my favorite basketball player. He was the greatest player on the Lakers. I am going to continue to incorporate him into my artwork. RIP Kobe.

The New World of Urban Human Hybrids The Final Chapter:

    The Basketball Bet

"Do y'all actually think Yoti has a cousin who look like Kobe and moves like him too?" Brian asked as him, Specio and their invited team member infiltrates the court.

"NAW, THAT NIGGA LYIN, I DON'T BELIEVE EM. NO TELLIN HIS ASS MIGHT SHOW UP WITH A HOMELESS MAN WHO WANTS TO BE LIKE KOBE, " Brian's friend Bokeem said.

"AYE, IT WOULD BE FUNNY HE JUST SHOW BY HIS SELF, " Brian said.

"WELL, IF HE DO THAT, THE BET IS OFF, AND THAT 20 DOLLARS IS MINES, " Specio said.

"Wait, that's him, aye he by his self, I told y'all HAHA, " Brian said whispering and putting his arm on Specio's shoulder.

"AYE WHERE KOBE AT?" Bokeem said.

"I KNOW Y'ALL UGLY ASSES OVER HERE LAUGHING. JEREMY ON HIS WAY, I TALKED TO EM LAST NIGHT, HE WILL SHOW UP, " Yoti said.

"YOU BETTER BE FOR REAL OR I'M TAKING THAT 20 DOLLARS OF YOURS, " Specio said.

"Okay well, when he do show up, this 20 dollars is staying in my pocket, " Yoti said.

    "IS THAT YO COUSIN RIGHT
THERE?" Brian said pointing in Jeremy's direction as he enters the court.

"Yeah that's him, " Yoti said turning away from his friends.

"Yo, he do look like Kobe, " Specio said having a shocking look on his face.

"Naw, not to me, y'all talkin bout his bald head and that Lakers Jersey he wearing. TO ME, HE DON'T LOOK LIKE KOBE, HE LOOK MORE LIKE A WACK ASS TUPAC THAT HAS BEEN RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD. Yoti why you didn't tell us you was related to Tupac?" Brian asked ridiculing him.

"Since you said that, he do kinda look like Tupac, with the thick beard, eyebrows and the bald head, " Bokeem said.

"YO MAN, STOP TALKING BOUT MY COUSIN LIKE THAT, HE COOL AS FOLKS. This is my cousin Jeremy." Yoti said greeting Jeremy as he walks up.

    "WHAT UP?" Specio said.

    "Wassup, " Jeremy said.

"SO SPECIO, I GUESS THAT 20 DOLLARS STAYS IN MY POCKET AFTER ALL, " Yoti said.

"Wait a minute, this is all too simple. How about we compete against each other that who ever has the coolest moves, gets that 20 bucks, and everything one of us has in our pockets, but only one person has to win with the best moves, deal?" Specio asked.

"Yeah I already know I'm go win this game, but when I do win and get all y'all money, I can take all of us out, " Jeremy said.

    "WHERE?" Yoti asked.

"Let's just say, I can take y'all to the finest hybrid club down town, how y'all like that?" Jeremy suggested.

"WOMEN GO BE THERE RIGHT?" Yoti asked.

"MILLIONS OF EM, " Jeremy said.

"COOL, CAUSE I NEED ME SOME GOOD PUSSY TONIGHT, I AIN'T HAVE NO PUSSY IN A MINUTE G, " Yoti said.

"Ight, I feel you. Well let's ball then," Jeremy said.

"Teach us yo moves Jeremy," Yoti said.

"I GOT Y'ALL," Jeremy said dunking and shooting the ball into the hoop.

The New World of Urban Hybrids Chapter 10

"I told my boys you have skills like Kobe, and I betted on 20 bucks that you would show up, " Yoti said.

"When is the bet?" Jeremy asked.

"Tomorrow, and they told us to meet at the court on 97th N Kensey street, " Yoti informed.

    "What time?" Jeremy asked.

"At 1:00pm on the dot, " Yoti said.

"Ight cuzz, I'll be there, cause I love shootin hoops, " Jeremy said confidently.

"Can you teach me some of the skills you know?" Yoti asked.

"Yeah for sho cuzz, I'll teach you everything I know about basketball, " Jeremy said.

    "Ight, " Yoti said.

"Y'all go have food there?" Jeremy asked.

"HELL NAW NIGGA, WE AIN'T HAVIN NO PICNIC, " Yoti said.

"Bro, how y'all go have an event without food?" Jeremy asked.

"NIGGA, THIS AIN'T NO DAMN EVENT, WE AIN'T RUNNIN NO SOUP KITCHEN ON THE COURT, WE JUST PLAYIN BALL. IF YOU GO BE HUNGRY BEFORE THE GAME, HAVE YO MAMA TO FEED YO ASS BEFORE YOU GET THERE, " Yoti said.

"Imma bring my own food than. And I know where you got that line from, you quoting lines off movies thinkin you know it all, you got that line from "House Party, I know," Jeremy said.

"I AIN'T GET NO DAMN LINE FROM NO MOVIE, " Yoti said.

"YOU DID BRO, I KNOW MY MOVIES, YOU GOT THAT LINE FROM THAT MOVIE, I WATCHED "HOUSE PARTY" LIKE 10 TIMES, I KNOW THAT LINE," Jeremy said.

"Since you know movies, what part was it mentioned in?" Yoti asked.

"The part when ol girl asked Play at the party did he had some refreshments, chips, sodas, and Kid said "you shoulda gotten here earlier, we had chips, drinks, dips, the brothas went through it, there's a store ten blocks from here, " then she left out the house and Kid said "yo mama shoulda fed you before you got here, this ain't no soup kitchen, " see I know," Jeremy.

"HAHA, You smart G, yeah I did get it from that. Ight G I see you tomorrow, " Yoti said.

The New World of Urban Human Hybrids Chapter 9

"You was talkin to my girl about panties, you shoulda been talkin to me about panties. My girl don't wanna hear nothin about yo ex-girl's panties. She ain't one of them bisexual females bro, my woman straight. I can't fool aroun wit them lesbian chicks. Don't get me wrong, but them lesbian chicks do be fine doe, but naw, I like a straight chick that's only into me, nobody else," Jeremy said.

"YO MAN JEREMY, A WOMAN IS A WOMAN TO ME. I DON'T CARE IF THEY BISEXUAL, LESBIAN OR TRISEXUALS. I'LL STILL GET IN THAT. NIGGA, I WOULDN'T EVEN CARE IF I HAD A GIRL WALKIN INTO MY ROOM WEARING A LAKER'S JERSEY AND HAT, AND HAVIN THE LAKER'S SHOES ON. I'LL STILL TRY TO KNOCK IN THEM BOOTS, YOU FEEL ME? " Yoti said loudly.

"Man, I don't feel nothin, that's you. I don't mess with none of em, I love my straight women. And what ex-girlfriend you was talkin about?" Jeremy asked.

"You remember my ex-girl Nee Nee?" Yoti asked.

"Awe yeah, Nee Nee I remember her, that's the one you said that know how to draw right?" Jeremy said.

"Yeah she do, she showed me all her artwork. She know how to do everything, she do collages, she paint, she sculpt, she do poetry, and she do architecture too," Yoti said.

"Yeah I remember her sayin she good at art when I met her," Jeremy said.

"She even do comics G," Yoti said.

"You talkin bout comics out of the newspaper?" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah them, she draw good as hell G, she even drew a self portrait of me," Yoti said.

"Word? You still got that self-portrait?" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah I still got it, its in my closit on the shelf. I ain't never throwin that away. When I first met her in my senior year in high school, she always used to sit by herself, I thought that was so sexy G," Yoti said.

"HAHAHA, HOW DO YOU FIND A WOMAN SEXY JUST BY SITTIN BY HERSELF?" Jeremy asked.

"NIGGA, I FIND THAT SEXY CAUSE THE FACT MY DICK GET HARD JUST BY A GIRL BEING BY HERSELF, I FIND THAT ATTRACTIVE. THE GIRLS THAT SITS BY THEMSELVES AND THAT'S QUIET, ARE THE ONES THAT'S NAIVE, AND DO ANYTHING FOR A NIGGA, WHICH IS SUCKING DICK," Yoti said.

"HAHAHA, YOU FULLA SHIT YOTI, THAT'S WHY YOU AIN'T GOT NO REAL WOMAN, " JEREMY SAID.

"HAHA, but anyway, we met in the library, she was drawing, so I went up to her and said her drawings was raw, and we just started talkin. At first I thought she was go be talkin like Katy Perry all proper an shit, but when she started talkin, her voice sounded deep, like that hood street deep voice. She was sayin all kinds of slang and she was cursing too," Yoti said.

"She was cursing? I wouldn't expect that from a nerd," Jeremy said.

"Right G, it seemed odd to me cause the way she was talkin, her voice didn't match her face at all G. I had to get used to her voice man. I thought she was tryin to put on an shit, you know just talkin like that to me cause I approached her, but I figured out that was her natural voice," Yoti.

"I know what you talkin bout bro, cause when you introduced me to her, it didn't seem like she would talk like that, she look innocent," Jeremy said.

"Yeah G, and she talk a lot too man," Yoti said.

"You talk a lot too bro, y'all had that in common," Jeremy said.

"Naw G, She talked so much tellin me her whole life story an shit, that's why I thought that relationship was gonna go somewhere, and guess what G?" Yoti said.

    "What?" Jeremy said.

"She even told me how many guys she hitted off with in the past," Yoti said.

"DAMN BRO, SHE TOLD YOU THAT?" Jeremy asked being shocked.

"YEAH G, THAT WAS SO UNEXPECTED IN A FEMALE THAT WOULD TELL A NIGGA SOMETHIN LIKE THAT. But she said she was one of them type of females that likes to keep it real, that's strange ain't it?" Yoti asked.

"I mean that's wassup in a female that likes to keep it real wit a nigga, but tellin a nigga how many dudes she slept with, that's going too far, that's being brutally honest, some niggas can't take honesty well. I wouldn't even tell my girl how many hoe's I banged in the past because that would be a red flag to her, I know how she would react to that. I just keep stuff like that to myself, " Jeremy said.

"Yeah, at first I thought somethin was off with that, but she said that was all in the past. She even told me she lost her virginity at 10," Yoti said.

"Word? Shid, when I was 10 I wasn't even thinkin about sex, my mind was on Pokemon and Power Rangers," Jeremy said.

"Yeah G, and I didn't lose my virginity til I turned 18, but I ain't go lie, that did turn me on like a battery doe," said.

"HAHA, man you crazy, but I feel you cause she don't even look like a freak, she look like a straight up virgin to me. I ain't go lie, when I met her, she was a lil cute somethin with all that pretty hair. What happen to y'all? Why did y'all break up?" Jeremy asked.

"IT WAS HER MAMA THAT BROKE US UP," Yoti said raising his voice.

    "Word?" Jeremy asked.

"YEAH, WE DIDN'T START DATING TIL SHE TURNED 21, I didn't have no job back then. SO HER MAMA, THOUGHT OF ME AS A BROKE NIGGA, MY GRANDMA ALWAYS GAVE ME MONEY TO TAKE NEE NEE OUT," Yoti said.

"MAN YOU STILL DON'T HAVE A JOB?" Jeremy asked.

"Well, I'm trying to look for me one, but anyway, one time I took her out to Mickey D's and bought her a meal, and I noticed she kept textin somebody on her phone," Yoti said.

"Was she textin a nigga?" Jeremy said.

"WAIT TIL I TELL YOU THIS G...

    "What?" Jeremy asked.

"I HAD LET IT SLIDE FOR A WEEK, BUT THE NEXT WEEK WE WENT TO THE BEACH, AND WHEN IT GOT DARK, I SAW HER PULLIN OUT HER PHONE TEXTIN SOMEBODY AGAIN. I ASKED HER WHO WAS SHE TEXTIN? SHE SAID A FRIEND," Yoti said.

"Somethin was off with that," Jeremy said.

"I KNOW, so the next day we went out, she came clean to me, she said she was textin HER MAMA, tellin her not to be out late," Yoti said.

"NIGGA WHAT? HER MAMA?" Jeremy asked getting confused.

"YEAH G, HER MAMA. I SAID NEE NEE YOU 21 YEARS OLD, WHY YOU STILL HAVE A CURFEW AN YOU GROWN? SHE SAID CAUSE HER MAMA SAID IT'S TOO MUCH STUFF BE HAPPENIN TO PEOPLE, AND SHE EXPECTS HER TO BE AT HOME BEFORE 10," Yoti said.

"I COULDN'T BE IN NO RELATIONSHIP LIKE THAT BRO, I CAN'T BE IN NO RELATIONSHIP WITH A GROWN WOMAN THAT LIVES WITH HER MAMA, PERIOD," Jeremy said.

"I feel you G. Yeah she was my first love, I had so much strong feelings for her man, and her mama broke it off," Yoti said.

"Man I feel like cryin," Yoti said.

"Naw don't cry, that don't look right on a nigga to cry over a female," Jeremy said.

"Yeah, but that's not what I wanted to talk you about, I called you cause I made a bet with my friends," Yoti said.

The New World of Urban Hybrids Chapter 8

    Yoti dials Jeremy's number

    "Hello?" A girl's voice answers.

    "Is Jeremy there?" Yoti asked.

    "Yeah," the girl said.

"Put em on the phone, I wanna talk to em," Yoti said.

"UHM, YOU DIDN'T EVEN INTRODUCE YOSELF TO ME, WHO ARE YOU?" The girl asked.

"I'm Yoti, his cousin," he said.

    "Awe," the girl said.

    "Who is you?" He asked.

"I'm Keisha, his girlfriend," she said.

"OOOH, OKAY, I SEE HE A PLAYA. he got it from me, I gotta whole lot of playas in my family," he said.

"I DON'T CARE WHAT THE HELL YOU GOT IN YO FAMILY," she said getting angry.

"I'm just tellin it like it is shortie can I ask you a question?" He asked.

    "WHAT?" She asked.

"What color panties you got on?" He asked.

"EXCUSE ME?" She asked getting irritated.

"I SAID, WHAT COLOR PANTIES YOU GOT ON GIRL, I LOVE PANTIES," He said harassing her.

    "NIGGA..." Cutting her off.

"I STILL GOT MY EX-GIRLFRIEND'S PANTIES FORM 3 YEARS AGO, I REMEMBER WHERE I PUT EM AT TOO, I HAVE A GOOD MEMORY, IT'S IN MY TOP DRAWER," He said.

"UH, NIGGA, I DON'T WANNA HEAR NOTHIN ABOUT NO WOMAN'S PANTIES. AND BY THE WAY, YOU ASKED FOR JEREMY, I'M FIINNA GO GET EM RIGHT NOW," she said.

"Yeah man wassup? My girl said you was disrespecting her, askin her what color her panties is," Jeremy said.

"Man G, You know how I am with the ladies," Yoti stated.

"Man, I respect you and love you an all cause we cousins, don't be harassing my girl like that, you shouldn't talk to a woman like that man," Jeremy informed.

"I feel you man, I apologize cuzz," Yoti said.

    "You good cuz," Jeremy said.

    Never drawn to NBA much
Waste of time i thought as such
    Happy playing NBA PC games
"LA lakers", victorious in all frames

Friends supported lakers don't know why
Wondering who the hell is this famous guy
Searched for details on the Yahoo engine
Understood why he is on those headlines

Parents caught me watching NBA live
Father said he may shift to LA's hive
Non chalantly i kept watching the game
Still aghast with the news that just came

Born on 24-8, i would fancy those numbers
Carried the whole team, such was his caliber
World class athlete, his gameplay won hearts
He made basketball look like a form of art

Where ever he is right now with his daughter
Surely must be motivating another set of fighters
Inspired Legacy you created will live on forever
Black mamba it's time to finally rest in peace ❣️

Hero Of the Game,A Legend far Beyond

Young as we always are, it was sudden
When we heard it,we doubted it
The world might be shitting us with lies
But bright morning became blight mourning
And hearts almost thought of stopping
    No tears seem to express.
    No words seem to explain.
As the world is hooded with pain.
We lost you,we lost the light and reason
Why people still aim and hope
Why people stayed in the game
But we will still throw the ball
    Because no sickness or darkness
    No disaster,loss or sadness
    No unclear or unfavorable conditions
Not the precious and mischievous death
Will stop us from reaching our goal
    To reach success and happiness
And this life makes little sense.
    Souls taken far too soon.
We must cherish the ones we love
    Because our time,we cannot choose.
    The memories will never fade.
    A winner
    He was,He is
    He will be forever!
You have never gone anywhere you are always in hearts of all the fans.
A hero of the game we love.
    But a legend far beyond.

People who never got a chance to say Goodbye!!

How do you explain death!! How do you explain the loss of a loved one!!..You can never put it in words.. You can never paint a picture of grief.. You can never sing songs about loss..You heart bleeds...Your soul weeps... You are shaken to the core of your being...There is no way you can shun the pain of losing a loved one and when it's a tragic and untimely loss, the pain is far greater than what we can even imagine...The heaviness in the heart beyond comprehension...The soul becomes numb!! At times it feels you are in this trance and you struggle to break free from it...It's really hard for people who never got a chance to say goodbye!!

    Angel on the Sidelines

    The way we move
The handling of that ball colored orange
And shifting swiftly on the hardwood
    Towards the bucket, that prize

It might just be a simple layup for some
With every ounce of my labor and toil I sink the shot
It may just be two points for some
    Its not though

I've got my spirit on the sidelines
    Cheering me on
    Coaching me today
    And beyond

    I'm feel free
From labels and lofty levels of expectations
Those ghosts shall not hold me back
My coach keeps them at bay
He will be more than just a coach
He will be my guardian of the court, and the teacher beyond any classroom
