It was just another normal day. I was preparing to go to a laboratory to get my blood report which I had given earlier that day. It was evening and I didn't want to go alone, so I told my dad to accompany me.
I started my bike, my dad sat behind me and as we were leaving our streets, I saw a couple of neighbourhood aunties glancing at me. It was weird but what do you expect anything else from them? I ignored the situation.
We entered the market and I noticed that a lot of people were staring at me. There was something strange about all of them looking at me. I asked dad if something was on my face, he adjusted the side mirror and told me that everything was fine! I was confused now. I started to ask questions to myself such as how did I get handsome all of a sudden? Or did my barber finally did something good in my haircut?
I thought this would stop as we enter the city but it did not. People kept gazing at me. I was pretty frightened by now. We got to the laboratory, dad collected my report and we headed back. On the way back, it was the same. The stares did not stop.
We came back home, I dashed to have a look at myself in the big mirror. And I knew why people are looking so strangely at me. It was because I was wearing the face mask upside down.
