Thief
There will be another winter
The reach of a midnight sun will taste of frost
A violet cloud of shiver and dread
I long for you is my favorite season
I wish I was wrong and
My heart was dead
But I live like a Frankenstein
Pieced together
Stitched to life
And I burn
I walk in stilted steps
Dazed and crazed searching through the singing trees of night looking for the thing that calls and calls to my soul the voice a piercing arrow with a hook that reels me in closer and closer then disappears without a backwards look
I live the life of a criminal
Stealing my breathe from the words you spill
Wondering when the lighting will strike

Theif of the Night
He had a specious way of speaking
The flow of his words creepily preaching
Although they Did not sound absurd
Eradicating error was hardly heard
Only the trained ear could catch
He lures people nearer, by his word
Before a train he would catch
Enunciating nouns & verbs
Swindling by belittling others intelligence
Dwindling by piddling absurdities of relevance
He spoke in mannerisms resembling semblance
Emblem's, diamonds, rubies & pearls
He thieved from the Innocent taking their world
Then Leave from their basement
With their blankets he furled
He's a dangerous tornado on the move that twirls
Robbing from angles he bends and curls
They call him Mr. Wright the thief of the night

I took your poetries away
Kept them to myself
Even tho your words should be shared with everyone
I was very selfish
I'm not going to say I'm sorry
I needed them so much
To hold me together
Bind my soul
Keep me tethered
Help me find myself
I'll take care of those posies
and I promise
I'll send them back
When my heart is stronger
And my soul
is tightly tied
to me
When I can face the truth
and come back to reality
I'll loose your words
free them from this love
I caged them in
Say goodbye
to the dreams they bloomed
and lay to rest
those flowers of wistful fantasy

Black Cardinals
The weight of it all
The dread of the sin
It weighs heavy on my soul
As my wounded wings flap
To tear the clouds
And rip the sky
I fear I shall fall deeper into it
The hole
The dark place
Where no man comes out of
And maybe I shall rejoice
At my fall
At my failure
For I have fallen so far from grace
Deprived of my father's grace
Do you still believe?
Do you still have hope?
That this darkened soul of mine
This broken pot
Shall receive reprieve?
How does one stone?
How does one get back?
How does one fallen angel heal its wings?
How do I rid myself of this sin?
I fear I shan't
As I descend into the earth
And the sky folds behind me
The darkness welcomes me
And His grace escapes me.

Let's Steal From Life
Life has stolen a lot from many of us or may be all of us somewhere somehow down the line. So, hey there ! Why not buckle up and steal some from life as well.
Don't you think you are breathing borrowed air at times ?
Or you are living without really "living"?
Let me say, life demands you to stay few feet apart from the person you love,from the work you are passionate about,from the things which really makes you happy. It feels like an unbreakable glass wall between you two where you can hear the knock from the other side but can't bridge through, you can feel everything on the other side but you can't complete the void. Isn't it too much life is asking from you ? How long will you live your life just thinking about the "what-ifs"?
Don't let this things matter as you know deep down that no matter how much distance life draws in between, you have never felt more close. So just give a damn, break that five feet apart stick and walk the steps to brings those feet to closure. Shed away all your fears and live free. Let's give our "what-ifs" a place rather than keeping it in our day dream regime. It's just life and before you know it will be gone. So if you are listening and you are able, steal your happiness,touch a human soul as touch is important to live and to breathe as you show your love ,and to let the other know that you are just there not even inches apart and you matter even when life stops at the last beat.
So as I say sign this deal to steal,tell me loud are you in? As I am so in right now...

I wonder why he can't speak. What locks together his teeth? They grind and grind until I break. I beg him to release the words choking his throat. Instead we stuff our ears with silence. I'm not comfortable with this unsaid quiet.
Foreign to my mouth is such a situation. I wonder on occasion if he is right. I am just too easy to riot with my rebel tongue. He says just shut up and bite it.
Let us lose ourselves in musky sheets.
Caress bare legs with vulnerable feet and know our peace. I am not so easily put at ease. Someone release us please.
What is this parasite thing? Once I called it love, but perhaps we are not so lucky? The longer I stare the more I find its face to be ugly.
What is this axe that looms above me? Striking fear should I feel its cutting fall. What if it's not a punishment at all? Can I be so twisted that I believe the inhale for a scream could become the sighed exhale of relief?
Everytime he speaks the sentence "I'm done talking." I feel our chains get heavier as he's walking away. He carries the skeleton key in his tongue. Will I be forced to tear it out? Must I turn our home into just another jail break heart?
