When we ask "How are u doing?"
We expect "Hey I am doing good" ,even when we are not!
Is it because we are living upto someone's expectations?
Or do we already know that the person on the other side is too busy to listen ?
Or is it we lack in accepting that we are not doing good?

कुछ थोड़ा अजूबा किया जाए
चलिए आज़ मौसम का मिजाज अच्छा हैं,
थोड़ा-सा ज़िंदगी का तजुर्बा लिया जाए
चलिए आज़ क़िस्मत खुल जाए तो अच्छा हैं
मोहब्बत का अपने भी इम्तिहान लिया जाए
हो जाती हैं उनसे उल्फत तो अच्छा हैं

इक तालाश
जरूरतों की भीड़ में थोड़ा सुकून धुंड रही हूं
खुद की ही तलाश में खुद को ढूंढ रही हूं
शिकायत नहीं अब कोई किसी से
के हालात ही है अब कुछ अजीब से
वक़्त कटता है अब चंद रुपए कमाने में
की खर्च हो जाती हूं में, जरुरते पूरा करने में
जरूरतों की भीड़ में थोड़ा सुकून ढूंढ रही हूं
खुद की ही तलाश मैं खुद को ढूंढ रही हूं
अजीब हो चुकी है ज़िन्दगी अब कुछ,
बचपन कि तरह ना रही, की बड़े सिर्फ हम ना हुए, जिम्मेदारियां भी बढ गई
खो गए कुछ इस तरह जिम्मेदारी और जरूरतों में
की फर्क ही ना पता चला बचपन और जवानी में
जरूरतों की भीड़ में थोड़ा सुकून ढूंढ रही हूं
खुद की ही तलाश मैं खुद को ढूंढ रही हूं
